My Experience with Sugar Twist and Shout FadeProof Kajal:
Packaging:
Sugar Twist and Shout FadeProof Kajal comes in a sleek and long black retractable pencil which has a rubber grip at upper part to provide good grip and a color coded bottom. I like the packaging.
Texture:
Sugar Twist and Shout FadeProof Kajal are buttery smooth when you apply them when they are new. I bought both blue and black together almost 1.5 years back. I was using the black one so I bought another backup in sale and used up the new one before.
Now comes the hate part, the blue one is still as smooth and creamy and glides like butter but the new black one got dry and hard that too in normal weather. It tugged on my eyes and hurt while applying. I left it in sunlight for whole day and it got better. But I was irritated with the fact that it was dried down while the other one was still good, why is there inconsistency in the formula. I came across a post where someone mentioned same thing happened with her black velvet.
Shades & Pigmentation:
Sugar Twist and Shout FadeProof Kajal 01 black velvet is normal black not blackest black and it sets to a matte finish. Sugar Twist and Shout FadeProof Kajal 02 Still Got The Blues is beautiful sapphire blue with sheen to it. Both shades are very pigmented.
Staying Power:
You can smudge this Kajal quickly as it sets in a minute. Once set it does not budge from lashline but it starts leaving waterline after 5 hours on my normal eyes. On lashline it survives whole day if you do not touch it or rub your eyes. On oily hooded lids you might see a bit transfer and smudging over 7-8 hours but not very prominent. If you prime and set your eyes then it is not gonna transfer and going to stay put for good 9-10 hours. You will need an oil based makeup remover to get if off your eyes.

Final Verdict: 4.5/5
Sugar Twist and Shout FadeProof Kajal is smooth and long lasting. It stays fadeproof for normal and dry skin types for good 10 hours but on oily skin a bit of smudging and transfer happens. I also found it weird that after a year black one got stiff and dry whereas blue is still smooth as butter. This is not my favorite but I have already repurchased black one once and I definitely recommend it.

It looks beautiful..
What a fabulous product review. I will certainly look for this in the blue color. I actually wear both a little black and a little blue to define my eyes, when I wear makeup that is. I also am pleased that this product has a rubber grip as that is so important. Thank you so much for the thorough review and I hope you have a wonderful weekend .
You are absolutely right..I also like to use black and blue to define my eyes…
Great post! I always think that Sugar Cosmetics is quite underrated, and I feel like so many of us are missing out on such great products x
