I mostly use Johnson’s baby oil or coconut oil to remove my makeup. And my previous experience with one or 2 makeup removers have not been pleasant as most of them badly sting in my eye. Except bioderma one, which stings sometimes but not always (I’ll review that soon. Today I am going to review first ever makeup remover which checks all the points for me and it is from my favorite brand :D. Texture & Consistency:

Maybelline New York Clean Express Total Clean Makeup Remover is a bi-phase makeup remover which means there are two layers in it one like water and other oil. You have to shake it well before using it then both the layers mix and create a little foamy watery mixture.

How I use it:

I shake the bottle well so both layers are mixed well and then i soak a cotton pad in it, tear it in half and hold it over eyes for about 30 sec and then slowly I start slightly pushing and wiping the eyes. and then from other side of cottons, I wipe my lips and face.

Performance:

On everyday basis mostly I just wear eyemakeup(mostly heavy kohl and waterproof mascara) and lipstick. one cotton soaked in Maybelline New York Clean Express Total Clean Makeup Remover is enough to clear that off. If I wear base makeup then 2 cotton soaked are enough. It takes off every last bit of stubborn lipstick and waterproof mascara. I see no lashes died on cotton pad when used this :D. It neither stings my eyes nor make them cloudy. It leaves slightly oily residue behind which goes away with regular facewash. I would day It is clean express in true sense.

Maybelline New York Clean Express Total Clean Makeup Remover is hands down one of my favorites now. It is perfect to travel with and I always reach out to this when I wear waterproof mascara. Perfect makeup remover for lazy bums like me. I find it affordable and definitely want to repurchase it asap. I would have given it 5/5 but it is available only in one size. This 70ml bottle lasted me almost 1.5 month when used daily, So I really feel there should be bigger bottle available. Maybelline are you listening, please make bigger bottles. Also I’m not able to find it here in netherlands :(.
