There was a time when i used to wear coloured eyeliners almost everyday and no eyeshadows because it was easy achieve the look with not much effort. Lakme eyeconic brown used to be my favorite brown eyeliner but not possible to get it in Netherlands. So let’s see if Wet n Wild Breakup Proof Waterproof Retractable Gel Eyeliner Black Brown replaced lakme one or not.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Breakup Proof Waterproof Retractable Gel Eyeliner:
Wet n wild retractable gel liner comes in 2 or 3 shades : black, blackest black and black brown are the ones I know of. I got the shade in black brown.
Packaging:
This gel liner is retractable pencil with sharp thin tip. There is no sharpner included but you can maneuver the pencil to keep the tip angled. I like thick liner so the packaging is not an issue for me. However if you like ultra thin liner, then this might be an issue for you. Also the cap is colorcoded so it makes you easy to spot this in a bunch.
Texture & Pigmentation:
wet n wild retractable gel liner has super smooth texture which glides on the lids without any tugging or pulling. The pigmentation is medium in single swipe but fully opaque in 2 swipes. I love this one.
Performance:
Wet n Wild Breakup Proof Waterproof Retractable Gel Eyeliner sets into a matte finish in about 1 minute which gives you enough time to smudge it if you are going for a smoky look. Once set, it does not budge. So definitely fulfills the breakup proof, crying proof and water proof claim. It does last all day on me, I wore it max for about 12 hours over the eyeshadow, out of which for about 9 hours it stayed put and then started to fade slightly. When applied directly on lid it stayed put for 7 hours and then slightly faded but did survive for about 12 hours before i removed it. You need oil based cleanser to remove this completely. On hot days it managed to not transfer on lids.

Wet n Wild Breakup Proof Waterproof Retractable Gel Eyeliner is very good eyeliner. it is definitely a gel liner in pencil form given the texture and performance. It stayed put all day and is smudgeproof, waterproof once set. I would have loved to get other shades if there were many. Overall I love Wet n Wild Breakup Proof Waterproof Retractable Gel Eyeliner, specially the shade black brown is perfect for my eyes. I love it a lot and love it more than my lakme eyeconic brown. The one I was using is completely finished and i do miss that shade in my collection. So I will repurchase this and the blackest black shade too in future but not now since I am doing a makeup no buy/low buy(mostly replacements).
