My Experience with La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum:
My Skin Type: Combination sensitive, which gets dry patches in winters and oily patches in summer.
I got this deluxe sample of La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum with one of my orders and do not be fooled by the small size, I used 1-2 drops of it once a day and this lasted me 1 month, so i could really judge the product and sharing my thoughts.
Packaging:
I love the refreshing blue packaging of this serum, it is so calming and clean to look at. the pipette is perfect for dispensing product, even the sample came with pipette.
Texture & Consistency:
La roche-posay describes the texture as Fresh and non-sticky, slightly water-gel like, and it is exactly that. it spreads so nicely and gets absorbed quickly into skin without leaving any stickyness behind. you need barely 2 drops for face and neck.
Performance:
I used this sparingly only once in a day during my daytime routine. I started using it in extreme winters when my moisture barrier felt compromised because of skincare product I’ll mention in another post. Let me tell you, right after the application, the immediate effect you notice is how your skin drinks up this serum and feels hydrated immediately. it feels nice and plump to touch. Within a week i noticed my red skin near smile lines(that is where the moisture barrier was compromised the most) recovered and my skin looked evened out and plumped. Also I did notice by end of the month that the fine lines around lips and under my eyes were more plump. Overall my face looked evened out, less red and hydrated. Do not use too much product otherwise it can leave you sticky. and trust me you do not need dropper full of serum per usage, 2-3 drops are enough for face and neck.

I can vouch for La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum. I would have repurchased it already but I want to finish the serums that are currently in my stash. It is magic hydration drink in a bottle. No it is not just any hyaluronic acid serum, it is more than that and moreover my skin felt so much better in such a short amount of time. La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum contains hyaluronic acid which cators to hydration and Vitamin B5 is to restore the moisture barrier. This combination with Madecassoside which is for cell renewal and soothing thermal spring water(my favorite) which has soothing properties makes it perfect cocktail for evened out plump hydrated skin. Also it did not irritate my sensitive skin at all. I still think price point is high but i would repurchase it at sale for sure. Definitely recommended.
