I’m back with shampoo and conditioner duo review after a long time. I have normal hair with normal sensitive scalp. Since I moved to Netherlands, my scalp and hair tend to get really dry and sensitive in winters due to cold dry winds. The Body Shop Ginger Shampoo & Conditioner has been my constant reliable companion in such times. But I was bored of same hair wash routine and wanted some change. I picked up and used few John Frieda one’s but that made my hair and scalp too dry (I’ll review them soon after giving them a try in hot weather too). So after research I decided to pick up TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 3 Resurrection Shampoo & Conditioner duo. I have been using it since January and today I’m here with the detailed review. It is a long one :D.

My Experience with TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 3 Resurrection Shampoo & Conditioner:

Since doing hit and trial from even the trusted brand like John Frieda which worked for me in past, my hair ended up being dry damaged and scalp irritated and flaky. I immediately fell back to my trusted The Body Shop Ginger Shampoo & Conditioner. And ordered TIGI Bed Head Resurrection Shampoo & Conditioner to fix the damage in my hair. Let’s dive into details.

Packaging:

I have 750ml packaging for which both Shampoo and conditioner from resurrection range come in bright red plastic opaque bottles with press open white translucent cap on top. You can buy pump dispensers separately if you want, I might buy it next time. Smaller version comes in tube packaging.

Scent, Texture & Consistency:

TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 3 Resurrection Shampoo & Conditioner said to have papaya chill pill fragrance and they do smell nice and fruity and not overpowering.

TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 3 Resurrection Shampoo is pearly white cream with medium consistency. It lathers pretty well and egts washed off easily as well.

TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 3 Resurrection Conditioner is thick off-white cream which spreads easily on wet hair and feels smooth and creamy like other silicon based conditioners.

Performance of TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 3 Resurrection Shampoo & Conditioner:

My hair were super dry and not in good shape when I started using this duo. As soon as I started TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 3 Resurrection Shampoo & Conditioner, I could feel the difference from very first wash. While washing off shampoo, my hair felt softer and not striped instead it felt like they have been fed moisture and post conditioner application and washing it off, my hair felt like they have been brought back to life. I was super impressed but it was first impression after all.

I kept on using this duo afterwards and I noticed that in winters if I leave the shampoo on hair longer than 2-3 mins my scalp felt dryer and little irritated later so that is something to keep in mind. If your scalp is sensitive to high concentration of SLS/SLES, do not leave it on for long time. Anyways you don’t really need to since it cleans hair pretty well within 2-3 mins. In summer also it cleaned all oil and grim pretty well. I used in on oiled hair as well and it worked effectively at taking off oil from hair. You do not need a lot as well.

The conditioner performed really well throughout. My hair felt so full of life and bouncy. It did not weigh down my hair at all. My hair felt touchably smoother and I did feel that with continuous usage it stopped hair breakage. The conditioner performed very well with other shampoos as well.

Th duo is colour-safe and said to leave a heat-protective layer on hair to save hair from further heat damage. I have used hair dryer directly after washing my hair with this duo without using heat protectant and I felt it did not make my hair overly dry unlike other cases.

TIGI Bed Head Urban Antidotes Level 3 Resurrection Shampoo & Conditioner are great at damage repair and it is actually rehab for hair. It helps fixing dryness and damage of hair causing lesser hair breakage. If you have dry damaged hair and no moisture fix shampoos are working for you, give this a try. I loved it to the core. It is colour-safe and said to leave a heat-protective layer on hair to save hair from further heat damage. The bigger packaging is definitely cost-effective. You need very less product per usage for all kinds of hair, I have been using these since January twice a week and still there is lot of product left in bottles. It adds healthy volume to hair and does not weigh them down. It tames down frizz quite effectively as well.

Shampoo contains SLS and conditioner contains silicon in case you are sensitive to those ingredients. And also do not leave shampoo on for longer time.

I definitely recommend this for dry damaged hair that need a repair and fix. I will progress to level 2 now since my hair feel a lot better.
