The problem is to get perfect light to capture the color. You can find my lipstick reviews here. Today I’m here with review of 2 shades from Menow-pro Powdery Matte Kissproof Lipstick range. Let’s see how these perform.

My Experience with Menow-pro Powdery Matte Kissproof Lipstick:
Menow-pro Powdery Matte Kissproof Lipstick comes in 19 beautiful shades. I have 2 of them 007 which is metallic burnt red and 008 which is a browny nude.
Packaging:
Menow-pro Powdery Matte Kissproof Lipstick comes as sharpenable chubby crayon with color-coded bottom and cap. The cap fits very well and doesn’t open in you bag.
Texture & Pigmentation:
The texture of these menow lipsticks is powdery matte as claimed. It sets to super-dry finish. The pigmentation is average and if you want to layer, you have to be very quick. If you try to layer after first layer is set matte, it gets crumbly and looks patchy and dry which is not a pretty sight. This is how it falls off lips when you try to layer after sometime:
Performance:
Once you put this lipstick on it instantly mattifies into powder matte finish which is extra-dry and not comfortable at all. You have to prep your lips well before applying these. Even then after few hours you feel like these suck life out of your lips. However these are transfer-proof but do not survive meal and and i do not like the fact that you have to clean whole lips of you want to reapply. On its own the lipstcik still starts to fade and crumble after 2-3 hours. Overall a total let down.

Menow-pro Powdery Matte Kissproof Lipstick have wide variaty of shades and the price is cheap but these are not worth the discomfort. I like the shade 008 a lot as it is such a beautiful nude brown but it too much of hassle to put it on. The metallic shades are even worse, they crumble like anything. I usually do not mind drying lipsticks as much but these are even beyond my tolerance limit. If you say at this price i should not complain, i would say I will rather buy elle 18 lipsticks since they are more worth the bucks. Such a pity because i really liked the shade range.

Dry..crumbly texture is the problem with these cheap lupsticks. Thats why I just stay away from these nowa days.

Both the shades are beautiful. i had tried their lip pencils and they are pretty good.
i have not tried the lip pencils… they are also pretty reasonably priced…
