L.A. Girl Fruity Scented Nailpaint Zesty Citrus Review, Swatches and NOTD
How you doing? How is your week going so far? I am asusual busy these days as the countdown has already begun 😛 so running errands and trying to remember if I have forgotten anything 😀 (I feel like a person with short-term memory-loss these days :D).
Today I’m back with the review of L.A. Girl Fruity Scented Nailpaint Zesty Citrus which is the first ever scented nailpaint I have used. I was so excited when i have received it as a part of the gifts My beau got me from his trip to Europe(see my gifts here). I was very excited to try this nailpaint. I have used it a lot and strange that i have not shared my love for it to you all.
Read on to know why I love this nailpaint a lot.
Price : Around 3-4$ .
Packaging of this bottle is nice and sturdy. I love the glass bottle with matte black cap on it. I have accidentally dropped it 2-3 times but it did not break. So quite sturdy and travel friendly packaging 🙂 brush applicator is very good hence the application is even for even 1 coat.
The shade is very pretty sunshine yellow and it looks like sparkling yellow lemon jelly with glitters in it.
Color Pay-off & consistency:
The color payoff of L.A. Girl Fruity Scented Nailpaint Zesty Citrus is sheer but even in one coat, 2 coats give a decent finish and 3 coats give very opaque finish 🙂
The best thing about this nailpaint is that you can use a different colored base-coat to experiment with it and also it can be a best companion for sandwich nailart.
Consistency of nailpaint is gel-like and it takes about 3-4 mins for 1 coat to completely dry.
Scent and staying power:
Since it is a scented nailpaint hence it is very important to tell you what kinda scent this one has. When you apply it, it smells like a regular nailpaint (Not that string though) but after 2-3 mins it coverts to refreshing fruity smell (citrus fragrance to be precise for Zesty Citrus shade). This fruity smell is not very sting so sensitive noses can also bear it. I kept smelling my nails again and again after i applied this. The scent lasts for 3 days 🙁 after that no scent at all. The nailpaint stays on for 5 days without chipping though.
Overall I’m impressed with the performance 🙂
