Heylo Everyone, I am an eyeliner-crazy girl and I feel eyeliner plays a key role in emphasizing your eyes and make them look beautiful. I have so many liners in my stash but I can’t fight temptation to buy more :P. It has been a while since I reviewed eyeliner here, so today post is going to be review of SUGAR Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner 01 Black Swan. I have received this beautiful eyeliner in my july fabbag.

My Experience with SUGAR Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner 01 Black Swan:

Packaging: SUGAR Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner 01 Black Swan is housed in a black bullet tube which comes inside a sleek funky printed carton box. The applicator is attached to the screw open cap like regular liquid liners. The eyeliner applicator is thin and has a firm thin felt-tip which makes liner application a breeze.

If you are the one who loves winged eyeliner or love experimenting with your liner then no doubt you’ll love this brush to the core. For me it is one of the best applicators so far. It makes my eyeliner application very precise effortlessly 🙂 you can draw even the thinnest possible line on eyes with it.

Color & Finish: SUGAR Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner 01 Black Swan is jet black in color and dries to completely matte finish.

Pigmentation & Staying Power: SUGAR Eye Told You So Waterproof Eyeliner 01 Black Swan gives opaque finish in single swipe. You can see there is not much difference in 1,2 and 3 swipe swatch. It dries very quickly and stays put on eyes for 7-8 hours if you do not touch your eyes. On rubbing slightly it becomes a little patchy/flaky But if you are someone who rub your eyes vigorously the eyeliner will be rubbed off completely without leaving a trace.

When you splash water the eyeliner do not budge but a little rub on it post that and it will peel-off right away and disappear without any trace so definitely not completely waterproof. This makes it very easy to remove and saves me from getting Halloween look while coming in contact with water.

It did not sting my sensitive eyes even when I have used it very close to lower waterline so in my opinion it is safe to use for lens wearers also.

What I like:

• Perfect jet black matte finish.
• Does not irritate super sensitive eyes.
• Very easy application.
• Dries very quickly.
• Easy to remove.

What I do not like:

• Contains SLS.
• Peels off on touching when comes in contact with water.

Final Verdict: 4.5/5

This is one of the best liquid liners I have used so far and has an awesome applicator. It is a great jet black matte finish eyeliner which is good for everyday use. It is safe for sensitive eyes and easy to remove with water. Beginners or Pros anybody can work with it without any trouble.

Recommended: Yes.
Repurchase: Probably yes(I love trying out new eyeliner). But anyways I’m not throwing away its applicator even after I finish it.
