Summer OOTD : White with pop of colors

2

I was transferring my photos to laptop then I came across my photos from a movie date with my beau and I thought I will share my  outfit idea with you guys (OOTD).

Since summers are here everybody will be wearing lots of whites and off-whites. But I find all white ensembles a little bit boring as I love colourssss. So I always perk my white outfits up with pop of bright colors.

Here I have very limited photos which I got clicked at home and we didn’t get any chance to click photos outside (I forgot to get myself clicked :o). But still… the aim of this post is to show you the idea of mixing white with colours. So I’ll be combining 2 Outfit of the day in one post.

Here are 2 occasions one is a movie date with my beau and other is a shopping day out with my friends. I’m sharing both outfits with you.

Look 1

On the first occasion (movie date) I wore a semi-transparent off-shite shirt with golden detailing on collar, sleeves and pocket. I wanted this to look bright yet classy so I wore bright coral-peach tank top inside which is giving a subtle pop of color to off-white and paired it with bright blue pants. To complete the look I have paired the outfit with golden belt and coral-peach ballerinas.

To keep the look soft and subtle I have kept my makeup simple as it was daytime. Dark heavily kohled eyes with heavy mascara (oriflame beauty wonder lash waterproof mascara) and Pond’s BB cream with little powder and bright coral-pink lips (Maybelline POW 4). I have left my hair as natural and I was good to go 🙂

Look 2

On second occasion i.e. shopping day out this weekend with my girl-gang, since it’s getting hot here in Delhi-NCR day by day, I wanted to wear something comfortable and hassle-free as we were going for whole day.

This time I wore a white cotton dress with white chikan embroidery on flare area and added a green shrug on top to add the pop of colour. I find green colour very soothing both to wear as well as to look at in hot summer weather. keeping the comfort in mind I have paired it with silver flat slippers.

For makeup (Not exactly makeup) I wore my pond’s BB cream, Neutrogena SPF 50 Sunblock, Johnson baby face powder. I used lakme eyeconic green(Review coming soon) on waterline and on lashline I have used bright green liquid liner(same color as my shrug) which from some local brand but the colour was so tempting that I couldn’t resist buying it. I finished the look with “oriflame beauty wonder lash waterproof mascara” and “Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom Pink Blossom”.

Here I have given 2 examples of giving your white/off-white outfit a twist of color. You can also give your outfit a twist of color by adding bright colored bangles/jewelry/belts/scarves. The color with white gives freshness to the outfit and total summary look.

Let me know in the comments section if you have liked my ideas of summary outfit.

Thanks in advance for comments.

Tada..
