My Movies/Series Watchlist : Lifestyle

Yayyyy it is FRIDAY!!!! I noticed it is mostly about makeup, skincare and fashion here and it has been a while since I have done any personal lifestyle kinda post. So today I have decided to go a little beyond the topic and share what is in my watchlist at the moment. I love watching movies and season of all sorts. Currently watching Netflix original series “Narcos” and many movies on side. So Lets see the top 10 items(% series and 5 movies) in my watchlist:

1. Narcos: (Series)

This is Netflix Original Series portrays “A chronicled look at the criminal exploits of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, as well as the many other drug kingpins who plagued the country through the years.” as IMDB says. I am on season 2 and loving it so far.

2. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. : (Series)

This sitcom does not need any introduction. If you are one of the few who haven’t watched it yet, then you need to watch it asap. It keeps on repeatedly casting on Comedy Central. Watch it for season 1 and you’ll be hooked. I still watch it almost everyday.

3. The Vampire Diaries: (Series)

IMDB describes it perfectly “The lives, loves, dangers and disasters in the town, Mystic Falls, Virginia. Creatures of unspeakable horror lurk beneath this town as a teenage girl is suddenly torn between two vampire brothers.”. I loved this series. Though it got a little bit boring in season 8 some new members entered in Mystic falls. I have to finish few episodes of season 8.

4. The Originals: (Series)

This branched out of “The Vampire Diaries” in 2013 and it was okayish in starting but then after one season they caught up the pace and got more interesting. I have to start from season 4… If you like vampires and werewolves fantacy then you are going to like these 2 seasons.

5. A Gifted Mind: (Series)

This series starring Patrick Wilson has been in my watchlist for a while but I will soon watch it. IMDB says about this series “Centers on an ultra-competitive surgeon whose life is changed forever when his ex-wife dies and begins teaching him what life is all about from the here-after.”

6. 50 Shades Trilogy: (Movie series)

Don’t be surprised but I still haven’t watched a single movie of 50 Shades Series :D. I was hoping I would read the books first but then thought it is better to watch movie first because after reading books, movie turns out to be disappointing in most cases. Still waiting in my watchlist :D.

7. Hidden Figures: (Movie)

IMDB story gist “The story of a team of female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program.”. I need to watch this. I have heard it is great inpirational tale of 3 women.

8. Valkyrie: (Movie)

How does not love Tom Cruise!!! This is a famous movie which I did not watch yet. So many friends suggested this and still in my watchlist. This is available on amazon Prime video now. so definitely watching soon. IMDB plot says “A dramatization of the 20 July assassination and political coup plot by desperate renegade German Army officers against Hitler during World War II.”

9. Se7ven: (Movie)

This one has a very interesting plot “Two detectives, a rookie and a veteran, hunt a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as his motives.” IMDB says. I wanna watch this one.

10. V for Vendetta: (Movie)

Another very raved about movie, recommended by many. I have had this in my watchlist for a while now. I think I will clear it off the first. Plot summary at IMDB says “In a future British tyranny, a shadowy freedom fighter, known only by the alias of “V”, plots to overthrow it with the help of a young woman.”

Other than these 10 items which are in my watchlist, I am enjoying many more movies at Sky Cinema as well. It has a vast collection. Some movies which I won’t mind watching twice like A beautiful Mind, Marvel movies, Batman series, Mr beans, The conjuring, Pink Panther, Johnny English etc…

So what is your binge watchlist these days and what are your recommendations? please share in comment section below.

Till next time…take care…xoxo.

  1. Great picks! I watched a bit of Narcos with my husband, but never finished. Friends is a classic! I still quote it today lol. I also liked The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. I named my dog after the character Klaus. 🙂

    1. wow, so many common picks we have.. Klaus’s character literally grows on you, the moment you start to hate him, he makes you fall in love with him again… I also quote Friends a lot 😀
