Concealer is something I do not go through easily specially since I like mostly light to medium coverage. But i do like to use them when i go full-beat. MAC Studio Finish Concealer SPF35 has been in my collection since 2015 but it is still fine, it smells fine and texture also is same. I usually do not throw makeup products out based on expiry date mentioned on them, i keep using my products till their smell/shade/texture/formula remains unchanged. But now during summers I mostly just like to go with concealer, powder, blush, bronzer and call it done, Since I got melasma during pregnancy, i got use of this concealer a lot. Read on to know my thoughts about it.

My Experience with MAC Studio Finish SPF35 Concealer:
I have combination sensitive skin which tends to get dry patches(under eyes and around mouth) in winters and oily patches in summer(T-zone). I have melasma and slight dark circles and redness around corners of my nose. So these are the areas i mostly apply concealer on.
Packaging:
MAC Studio Finish SPF35 Concealer comes in a black pot with transparent flip-open cap. the shade name is written on bottom of the pot on a sticker. The outer packaging is typical MAC black carton box. overall nothing special.
Shades:
There are 21 shades to choose from and i have shade NC35, which is darker than my shade match in both winters and summer. The darker shade of concealer works perfectly to hide any dark spots and undereye darkness more effetely than a prefect match or lighter shade. Whereas a lighter shade is perfect for brightening. So I would recommend to go with darker shade of concealer, then foundation and then brightening concealer.
Texture & Pigmentation:
Texture of MAC Studio Finish Concealer is creamy and slightly thick. I like to use my fingers in colder months to warm the product a little bit and then apply on my face. And in summers I use thick concealer brush. It works fine with both ways. The pigmentation and coverage is medium and buildable to high.
Performance:
MAC Studio Finish SPF35 Concealer is non-drying and does not settle into fine lines. It hides the dark spots and neutralizes the undereyes pretty well. Despite being matte finish, it does not feel drying at all even if you set it with powder. I love how easy it is to work with this concealer. it stays put whole day and i never feel like touching up. However if you have oily skin, you might want to touch up during the day asususal. It does not clog pores and does not aggravate any breakouts. Despite it containing SPF there is no flashback in bright light,

Overall I love MAC Studio Finish SPF35 Concealer. it is fuss-free. Shade NC35 has slight yellowish orange tones on my skin which makes it perfect for hiding dark spots and undereyes for me. The staying power is great and you need tiniest amount each time. I have been using it for a year now but still there is ton of product left in the pot. I also love that it has wide shade range to choose from. It is pricey for sure but the quantity is worth the price and lasts you a long time. Recommended and will repurchase it in future once it gets over.
