Zimmber : Is it solution to all your Household Problems?

Do you face a lot of household problems in day to day life like You do not know any plumbing or electrical guy? AC not working or microwave broke down? your sofa is really dirty and it is bothering you but you can’t wash it? your car needs a thorough cleaning and you are not getting time to get it done? you have called pest control guy 100 times but still he is not showing up? you are tired with all the chores and want to get pampered but tired enough that you don’t want to go to salon? Well here I’m about to tell you about an app which may come handy in any such scenario : Zimmber. Is Zimmber app solution to all your household problems? Read on to know my experience.

My Experience with Zimmber:

I have installed Zimmber from google Play store and first thing it asks is to register your mobile number and then it takes you to app’s interface. You have to select your location and based on that you can browse through different services.

When you open Zimmber app you see main menu which has almost many services listed like Car Spa, Driver on Demand, Plumbing Service, AC Repair, Salon At Home, Electrical Service, Home Spa, Pest Control Service, PC & Laptop repair, Refrigerator repair, Washing machine repair, geyser repair, colour you home, microwave repair, home makeover, Sofa Spa, Carpentry Service, Carpet Spa etc. Yes these many services are listed right now on app. A specialised professional will be provided for different service. There are different offers on booking of different services.

I have decided to explore Salon at Home, well obviously I want to get pampered and If i can get it at comfort of my home then there can not be anything better than this. Here is how salon at home main menu looks like:

I have decided to go for combo services as they are more reasonable and you get many services at discounted combo price. When I clicked on combos section I could see many combo options available and the listing changes time to time. One thing which bothered me was that I was not able to see list of all the services which were part of combo and I had to go to their website to check that (Really why use app then). But since the app is still in developing stage I have given my feedback to their team.

I have booked a combo service at available timeslot. I noticed that all timeslots were of 1 hr duration and I was confused that how is it possible for all the services to get over within an hour. Anyways I have received a confirmation message post booking.

My booked slot was 4-5PM and by 4 pm no one from Zimmber called me up to comfirm associate assigned or to get directions to my home. I had to give them a call post which they have assigned an associate to me who reached at my home by 5PM.

Associate assigned to me was nice and friendly. She explained me how she is going to proceed and asked for my suggestions as well. When enquired she told me that the time slot is for the associates reaching time. That they need to reach with that timeslot. She proceeded with the services and asked me in between if I want to upgrade any service with additional cost. They keep 4-5 product options which are listed in individual categories as well, like for facial they keep lotus, o3+, riga etc so if your combo has lotus facial but you want to go for o3+ then by paying some additional charges you can avail that.

Overall I have had good experience with Zimmber. I have liked the services and the option to upgrade the services if you do not like the products they are using. I feel that the app need more refinement on development front like listing of all services clearly and booking timeslots otherwise on service front i liked it. They call to take customer feedback and note all the points which are suggested for improvement.

I would like to try other household services as well. I suggest you all to give Zimmber a try if it is servicing in your city and this might help you with your household problems 🙂
