The Ordinary Buffet Ingredients

My Experience with The Ordinary Buffet:

The Ordinary Buffet serum comes in a matte white transparent bottle with pipette. The packaging is simple and all details are mentioned on outer packaging.

The Ordinary Buffet Review

The Ordinary Buffet is clear serum with moderate consistency and gets absorbed into skin without any tackyness or shine left behind. Again 2-3 drops is enough for face and neck. I can’t stress this enough that using whole dropper full of product is not ideal so start with less and add more if you feel the need to.

The Ordinary Buffet Serum

I did 2 patch tests and after no irritation I started slowly with using once every alternate day and then week by week increased the frequency to every morning. TO suggests not to use this with direct acids or Ascorbic and L-ascorbic acid. So I kept it simple and used it only in morning since I use AHA tonic in some nights and I did not want to mix up and confuse my routine too much.

Coming to effects and performance, initially I have not noticed any difference whatsoever. I thought it was not doing anything. I was almost thorough the bottle and then stopped using it for a few days right after my delivery. With the snow fall my skin was feeling partched and dehydrated. Then I saw this in my bathroom cabinet and thought of finshing it up and toss the bottle. I noticed my skin felt hydrated and plump within 2 days. Suddenly my skin felt and looked better and cared for. Then I realised what it was doing for my skin. Hyaluronic acid and peptides were in play in the background. I have noticed it working on my laugh lines, hyperpigmentation and dryness too.

Final Verdict: 4.5/5

The Ordinary Buffet is very good mixture of peptides and hyaluronic acide and many good ingredients like amino acids. It makes skin look and feel healthy and plump. It takes care of dehydrated partched skin and gives it soothing care. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking to start with anti-aging and too scared to go for retinols directly. This is a good beginner friendly serum which was also safe to use in pregnancy( the one with Copper peptide is not pregnancy safe) but again do your own research. I feel the price is high for The ordinary but then I do not mind given the effects and benefits it gave my skin. I would love to repurchase this.
