I have already reviewed The Body shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil. So Let’s see if the cream is as impressive as the facial oil.

My Experience with The Body Shop Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalizing Cream:
I have started using facial oil in extreme winters and then later i incorporated facial cream from this range in late winters. I kept using it till the weather became little warmer. So I have an overall review of how it performs in different seasons on my sensitive combination skin.
Packaging:
The body shop oils of life facial cream usually comes in a white paper carton outer packaging, since i have the set, mine came with facial oil in hard box gift packaging. The cream comes in a amber golden glass tub with matte black screw open lid on it. I love the packaging but it is heavy to carry around. I transfer the product into travel plastic containers while travelling.
Texture & Smell:
TBS Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalizing Cream is silicony silky rich cream. It has dimethicones present quite up in ingredients list which is kind of disappointing. My skin is sensitive towards high content of silicons but this did not irritate my skin so that is a relief.
Smell of this cream is like the oil spicy and warm notes which feels amazing in winters but can be overpowering in summers.
Performance:
TBS Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalizing Cream can be used as both day and night cream. Despite being rich in texture TBS Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalizing Cream is a non-greasy and light-weight on skin. It melts into the skin like butter leaving the healthy glow behind. You can say silicons are responsible for the fluffy smoother feeling on skin. It gets absorbed into skin without much effort and skin instantly feels plump.
It stopped my combination skin from getting dry patches in winters. This provides sufficient moisture when used along with oil. When used alone, I felt it was not sufficient in extreme harsh winters. This is something you should keep in mind if you have dry and dehydrated skin.
In summers, it was too heavy to use along with oil, on it’s own it was really enough for my combination skin. My skin got oily within 2 hours when used with oil, when used alone it controlled my oils to good extent. however i think this will be heavy for oily skinned beauties except winters.

Though it is a good light-wight facial cream with good moisturizing properties but there are just too many things about it which I do not appreciate. First the price tag, second the silicons and third not-sufficient on it’s own in winters , fourthtoo warm scent for summers. This just did not impress me. My skin felt great but i was not smitten by it. There are other creams better priced with better performance than this.
I will not repurchase it, if you are interested in buying this I would recommend trying by getting a sample first from TBS store because this thing ain’t cheap. However I’ll repurchase the oil from the range(review).
