My Experience with The Body Shop Ginger Scalp Care Conditioner:
It is absolute bliss not having to worry about conditioner getting on scalp and rather using the conditioner on scalp as well. Just saying. Yes you heard it right, you can actually used this conditioner on scalp as well and it is said to sooth the itchy and irritated scalp, For me it is a plus.
Packaging:
The packaging is similar to ginger shampoo, brown semi-transparent bottle with black flip and crew open cap. Quite sturdy leak-proof packaging.
Texture, smell & Consistency:
Texture of The Body Shop Ginger Scalp Care Conditioner is quite creamy and spread easily. The smell is quite spicy and not everybody will like it but it is not overpowering and does not linger for long. Consistency is cream like, It is not at all runny and not too thick either.
Performance:
As you know this conditioner claims to sooth irritated itchy scalp, and it does that quite impressively. When I have traveled back to Amsterdam from India, due to sudden temperature change(27 degree Celsius to 1 degree), my skin and scalp went haywire and my scalp got super irritated and inflammed. I have used it on my super irritated inflamed scalp after washing my hair with TBS ginger shampoo, it actually soothed down the scalp after just one wash. I’m impressed, it is not going anywhere now.
The Body Shop Ginger Scalp Care Conditioner also keeps my dry ends in check even in extreme winters. It is moisturizing enough to combat the dryness that comes with dry air and even usage of hair dryers.

The Body Shop Ginger Shampoo-conditioner duo is my go to for anti-dandruff treatment. Despite the fact that I like to try different shampoo conditioners, these are always there on my shelf. I have just finished the conditioner and I’m already missing it, definitely going to repurchase (waiting for Christmas sale). I love the fact that it can be used on scalp as well and it soothes irritated itchy scalp. In short I love it. If you are someone with sensitive or quite irritated or inflamed scalp, I recommend you to grab it unless you are sensitive to any ingredient.
Wondering why I have deducted the point, that is because it has perfume quite up in the ingredient list and ginger oil at almost the end. It does not control frizz and nether does it claim to do so.
