OOTD: Dress up for the date-night 🙂

How have you been? Sorry I was away from the blog for few days… Phewww life have been very hectic for past 2 weeks but now I’m back and will keep bringing you my reviews and beauty ideas 🙂

Today I’m doing an outfit post again. We are often confused about what to wear where for a date night whether it’s a date-night with girl gang or with someone special :P. According to me there are few very basic points to remember whenever you are dressing up for a date-night please read on to know:

1. First and foremost, no matter what you decide to wear you should be comfortable in it.
2. Until and unless you are going to a themed party, there is no dress code for what you should wear(it’s not necessary to wear a dress for date or shorts for day-out with girls, like I said choose what comforts you).
3. Always dress according to the mood of the outing.(If it’s a candle light dinner-date in some fancy restaurant, choose something classy and if it’s a night at the club, wear something cheery and playful).
4. Keep in mind it’s not about wearing everything (accessories) but wearing it right 🙂

Well I’m feeling like a boring teacher right now. Not any further blabbering I’m sharing my 2 outfits for 2 different date-night occasions.

First one was the dinner date at some fancy restaurant with a classy sophisticated setting(more of a candle light sorts 🙂 ). I decided to wear the black dress and accessorize with “never-goes-wrong-with-black” red.
Since red itself makes a bold statement, I have kept the accessories minimal. Black dress, Red pumps, watch with red belt, golden bracelet and red lips 🙂 and I’m all set to go 🙂

I have opted for black studs for earrings, you can also go for something golden but make sure it’s not gaudy as it may ruin the whole sophisticated feel and look overdone.

Since red is bold color I’ve kept my eyes simple with overall brown color on lids (using 2 shades) and Faces long wear eye pencil black on waterline as well as lash-line. 🙂

Second occasion was my birthday night with girls at a club. So I’ve decided to play with colors this time and make my outfit fun and in line with the mood of the party 😀

I’ve decided to wear Cyan colored dress and again keeping accessories minimal combined it with copper statement watch, copper earrings, Neon pink lips and classic black pumps 🙂

I love to match my makeup with accessories so I’ve decided to play with colors on my eyes too, I have used oriflamme brown eyeshadow on my lids, Lakme eyeconic Green on my waterline and Lakme absolute liner in copper on upper and lower lash-line.

Here also the idea is use of bright colors and to highlight that part keep accessories minimal.

In both the looks I’ve preferred bold lips and nude eyes, you can opt for nude lips and smokey eyes too. The idea is to highlight one feature at a time so that it’s not looking madeup 🙂
