I do not appreciate when brands blatantly copy another brand without a blink. Now a days it is more common in beauty world than before. So why am i reviewing these miss claire soft matte lip creams which many of you might have mistaken you for Nyx soft matte lip cream at some point for sure. Because these images have been lying in my phone and in my defense i bought these when i could not get my hands on NYX(it was not that easy to get nyx in india). While we are here, i as well share my opinion about these Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams.

My Experience with Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Creams:
Let’s get the obvious out of the way – Miss Claire has almost all products duping the other brands. And these are dupes of NYX soft matte lip creams so much so that the name and packaging is identical. although Miss Claire does have more shades than NYX.
Packaging:
Color coordinated plastic tubes with doe-foot applicator. Applicator picks up enough product and also gives precise application. I love the packaging and also the applicator.
Shades:
There are multiple shades to choose from the miss claire range. I have 4 of them: 7, 26, 42, 43. I do not like the number system as shade names, i prefer actual shade names.
Formula & Pigmentation:
Formula of miss claire soft matte lip cream is velvety mousse, consistency is neither too thick nor too thin. The pigmentation is opaque in 2 swipes. and these are easy to layer and easy to reapply.
Performance:
Miss Claire soft matte lip creams go so smoothly on lips and takes some time to set. Since is is mousse formula, it does not set completely and there is a very little transfer but these are super comfortable on lips. Once set, these last for 4-5 hours with minimal transfer on cups. You need to reapply after a full meal but these survive small snacking.

I do not have any complaints other than that miss claire literally copied everything packaging, formula, name etc. from NYX. I do not like when brands do that. That is why it took me so long to post this review. I have purchased these long ago when getting nyx in india was very tough. But never repurchased any despite the fact that i like these. I’m not gonna bother with my Lip swatches for these. I have shared those on my insta in my makeup posts already long back. Overall Miss claire soft matte lip creams have velvety mousse formula which feels comfortable on lips and stays well. These are easy to reapply and there are many shades to choose from although many shades are too close to each other.
