So no surprises if you see one after another mascara reviews here. Today under my scanner is Maybelline the MAGNUM Barbie Mascara. Lets dive into review, shall we?

My Experience with 
Maybelline the MAGNUM Barbie Mascara:

Packaging:

Maybelline the MAGNUM Barbie Mascara looks super cute, i mean it says Barbie in the name right!!!. It is adorable girlie yellow pink packaging. The shape of the mascara tube quite similar to Maybelline falsies mascara. Although the wand also looks similar to falsies mascara but it is not as efficient and dense as the falsies one.

Texture & Consistency:

 Maybelline the MAGNUM Barbie Mascara is super black in shade. Formula is not too thick not too runny. It is cream base with some fibres in it to give lashes fuller look. It applies beautifully and gives curl and volume to my lashes. This layers pretty well.

Performance:

Maybelline the MAGNUM Barbie Mascara gets applied beautifully and gives fuller looking lashes in single coat itself. It gives lift and curl and doll looking lashes too. BUT the fibres in it which are responsible for giving fuller lashes, starts shedding and flaking after sometime. And these fibres can get in eyes and irritate them as well. When layered, the mascara starts flaking allover after 5 hours. I have normal sensitive eyes and I love maybelline mascaras but this one just disappointed me. Although It is waterproof and smudge-proof so it won’t give you panda eyes. And you’ll need an oil based remover to clean it off completely.

Maybelline the MAGNUM Barbie Mascara does what it claims to an extent. It is super black, curls lashes and gives fuller looking lash look. But the formula is not the best out there. Fibers in mascara start flaking and shedding after some time and irritate the eyes. The wand could have been better as well. I was super happy when I applied this on my eyes but then the flaking got me disappointed. I finished using it however. It is a pretty average mascara and not a repurchase for me.
