Maybelline is my favorite drugstore brands specially when it comes to lipsticks. They have some of my favorite lipstick formulas and they do launch very good colour range and within the pricetag which i admire. I did not pick up the shades when The Loaded Bolds range was launched about 4 years back. Then came purple lipstick phase and I was immediately drawn to Fearless Purple shade form the range since it looked very wearble purple to me. Let’s read on to know if that is true or not.

My Experience with Maybelline Loaded Bolds Lipstick Fearless Purple:
I was always in doubt that I can pull off purple lipstick. Going through the swatches I thought Maybelline Loaded Bolds Fearless Purple Shade was the one I can attempt to try. Since maybelline is very frequently on sale on Nykaa and Purplle, I managed to get it for 40% off.
Packaging:
Maybelline Loaded Bolds Lipstick Fearless Purple comes in a silver bullet with dark blue lid on it. The packaging is in sync with other maybelline lipsticks just the cap colour is different. Word of caution, do not apply lot of pressure while applying else the lipstick comes off from base.
Shade:
Fearless Purple is very true purple in bullet as well as on lips. This shade will cator to light, medium and deep skintones very well.
Texture & Pigmentation:
The lipstick has creamy matte finish which glides like dream and does not tug or pull onto lips. The pigmentation is opaque in single swipe. I apply and blot upto 3 layers and it does not feel heavy on lips and does not settle into liplines.
Performance:
This stays well put for 5 hours with very little fading from lips. This does not survive an oily meal but light meals are ok. Fearless purple stains your lips a lot so even upon fading it gives a look that you still have lipstick on your lips. So no need for Immediate touchup which is a plus point for dark lipstick.

Maybelline Loaded Bolds Lipstick Fearless Purple is beautiful lipstick with good texture and staying power. Many people got it after seeing it on me. If you are looking for a purple lipstick, get it, you will not regret it. This range is discontinued in many countries so get it while you can.
