Before you start wondering which Lakme CC cream is this, let me clarify this is the previously launched version also called as Lakme Complexion Care Cream. The newly launched version is called Lakme Color Transform CC Cream(I don’t know why they included CC to create confusion :/). Anyhow coming to the post, I’m going to review the previously launched version Lakme CC Complexion Care Cream in shade Beige.

My Experience with Lakme CC Complexion Care Cream:

Lakme CC Complexion Care Cream comes in an opaque beige coloured squeeze tube with silver cap. It is travel friendly.

The texture of Lakme CC Complexion Care Cream is soft velvety cream like which spreads easily and gets absorbed in skin. Oily skinned beauties can use it directly but I would suggest dry skinned beauties and combination skinned beauties who have dry patches, to use moisturiser underneath.

Pigmentation is good for a CC cream as it reduces the redness on face and covers uneven skin tone. But do not expect this to do a job of foundation or concealer. It gives matte finish with light coverage. It does not feel heavy even on applying 2 layers. Shade selection is very poor with only 2 shades to choose from. Match your shade properly otherwise it can look ashy on your face. I’m NC30-35(Fair to Medium Fair) depending upon season and tanning.

Coming to staying power, I use compact/loose powder to set my face after applying this. The soft matte finish it gives to my face stays for 3-4 hours on my combination skin, after that little dewiness can be seen.

Overall Lakme CC Complexion Care Cream is lightweight moisturizer with goodness of sunscreen and makeup in it. It gives soft matte finish to face with light to medium coverage. If you are someone like me who likes light makeup on everyday basis, you are gonna love this. Only drawback I find is very poor shade selection which seems to be the major problem with all BB/CC creams in India. You can also mix both shades to make your custom match. I love this for everyday use and already repurchased it a few times 🙂
