Heylo everyone, I hope you all are doing good. How was your weekend/valentine’s weekend? I’m not much of a dates/days person :D, I mean I do not have craze for valentine’s day or days like this 😛 ,For me everyday is valentine’s day when you are with the love of your life 😉 .

Anyways today I’m here with review of a product which has changed my prospective about rose water. Presenting all of you review of Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater.

Steam Distilled KAMA Ayurveda Pure Rosewater is made from the roses of Kannauj, a region in North India, rich in white soil conductive to roses’ growth. The Kannauj rose is considered special…it has the same specifications as the Bulgarian rose.

The steam water distillation process used to create this wonderful rosewater ensures a high level of hygiene and unmatched purity.

My experience with Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater:

Packaging:

Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater comes in a brown plastic bottle with pump spray and a transparent cap. The product name, ingredients etc are written on in golden over an off-white sticker. 50ml bottle is perfect travel companion. Pump spray is really nice and sprays the product evenly and optimally on face. Travel friendly and light weight.

I have not thrown the empty bottle and going to use it as traveling refill.

Performance:

Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater is colorless and looks like water. It has a fainted non-lingering smell of roses, nothing overpowering. I have received Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water for the first time in my fabbag. Before I used Forest Essentials Pure rosewater Facial Tonic Mist, I used to think why would someone will buy an expensive rose water like this when they can get rose water for less than 100/- INR, But When I used that I was left stunned. So this time I was excited to see a Pure rose water product by Kama Ayurveda :).

I have used this religiously on my face twice everyday and traveled with this everywhere and I loved it. I use it as a Toner, mix it in my face pack, Spray it over my face after a long tiring day, mix it in my foundation on a hot day, spray it as a finishing mist.

What I love about it:

  • Calms down any irritation on my face.
  • Gets absorbed into skin in no time and thus keeps skin hydrated for longer once you apply your moisturizer over it.
  • Reduces dry patches on my skin during winters. 
  • Keeps skin fresh and refreshes the dull tired skin.
  • Minimizes pores also but that is temporary.
  • Helps the foundation blend well without highlighting dry patches.
  • When I use it as a finishing spray, it eliminates the powdery finish and gives soft natural dewy look.
  • My skin loves it.
  • Alcohol and all sorts of chemical free.
  • Steam distilled pure rose water.

What I do not love about it:

  • Price Tag(But it is cheaper than FE).

Final Verdict: 5/5

I absolutely love Kama Ayurveda Pure Rosewater and my skin loves it too 🙂 . Totally recommended. Give it a try, it is a unisex product.

I have chosen it as a product of my choice for my december fabbag as well. I love it and I’m going to repurchase it until I get bored of it :).

  1. OMG!! 😳 a pure chemical free, reduces dry patches,absorbs quickly onto the skin … what else we could want from a rose water huh? Such a good product 😀 am definitely going to give this a try 🙂 🙂

  8. I have used two bottles of this rose water and love it too. Only problem i face is with the packaging, the rose water comes out from the pump with a forse which just hit my face everytime so I prefer to take this rose water on cotton and then apply it on my face. Does this happen with me only?

    1. hehehe I never faced such issue, infact I love it’s pump as it sprays evenly and very optimum amount of product…may be you are spritzing very close to face.. I spray it approx 10-12 inches away from face.
