Godrej Expert Rich Crème Hair Color : Color Without Fear of Damaging Hair or Burning Hole in Pocket

How have you been? Today I’m here with review of a hair color which is super reasonable and gives lovely color. I’m talking about Godrej Expert Rich Crème Hair Color. Godrej recently sent me their hair colors along with chocolaty treats. Since I was travelling to my in-laws place I have decided to take “Dark Brown” shade for my mom-in-law to try and here I’m sharing her experience.

About Godrej Expert Rich Crème Hair Color:

• Enriched with Aloe & Milk protein
• Comes in pre-measured sachets, that makes it easy to use
• No ammonia formula.
• 100% grey coverage
• Contains a sachet each of colourant (20g) & developer (20ml)

Directions for Use: Pour the developer and the colorant into the mixing bowl and blend them well. Now apply this mixture on washed and dried hair with the brush and leave for 30 minutes before rinsing with water.

Experience with Godrej Expert Rich Crème Hair Color:

My mom-in-law always uses Dark brown shade for coloring hair and she uses ammonia-free colors so I have got her the same shade from Godrej Expert Rich Crème Hair Color range. We did a patch test on her before using the color. The single usage packs are pre-measured and all you have to do is mix both sachets(20 ml color and 20 ml Developer) in a mixing bowl and mix it well.

Section your hair and apply it. If you have long hair then I would suggest go for 2-3 single use packs as 1 pack may not be enough for long hair. My mom-in-law applied it and kept it for 30 mins then washed her hair with shampoo and conditioner then left them to dry naturally. After drying her hair looked shinier and naturally colored(Not made up or stark). Her greys were covered effectively and her hair felt soft(not dry or rough). Being no-ammonia hair colour it did not irritate eyes and sensitive nose.

Do not forget to do a patch test before applying the product. It is recommended for all hair colors.

I would do another update post on how long the color is going to last. And I am planning to do experiment with burgundy color on my hair 🙂 I will keep you guys posted 🙂

• Smells nice unlike most hair colors.
• No hair-fall post usage.
• Lasts for 15-20 days after that touch might be required.

What I don’t like about it:

• Single use pack doesn’t have gloves inside.

Final Verdict: 4.5/5

Based on my mom-in-law’s experience till now I rate it 4.5/5.

Godrej Expert Rich Crème Hair Color is an affordable and convenient option to color your hair at home without fearing about damaging hair or burning a hole in pocket. I love the fact that it is ammonia free. It adequately covers greys and makes hair shiny and soft with natural looking color.

Recommended: Yes. If you are a first timer, I would suggest to buy kit first as it comes with mixing bowl, applicator brush, gloves, stain removing wipe and conditioner. Later on you can go for single use packs.

Repurchase: Yes. My mom-in-law found it very amusing and she is very happy with the price tag it comes with.
