Shower gels, body polish, body scrub, body lotions and body butters are my favorite. I keep changing the scents from their wide variety of range. Blueberry range was launched as limited edition but I can still see it at stores so I guess it is no longer limited edition. I have used body wash and body lotion from this range in past and really liked the yummy scent. This time I picked up The Body shop Blueberry Exfoliating Gel Body Scrub in Hongkong as my satsuma body polish got over. I got a great deal on this 40% off. I have been using this for a while so lets see how I feel about this….

My Experience with The Body shop Blueberry Exfoliating Gel Body Scrub:
The Body shop Blueberry Body Scrub comes in a transparent tub with black lid on it. There is a big blueberry sticker on top of the cap. Some might find the packaging a bit unhygienic but i don’t mind as I use it carefully.
The Body shop Blueberry Body Scrub has 3 types of exfoliating particles: walnet shell poder, Silica and blueberry seeds in a blueberry colored gel base. This has perfact consistency which is not too thick and not too runny. It spreads easily and exfoliates skin pretty well.
I have super sensitive skin so I go a little light hand with this but even if I rube it with little pressure, it doesn’t feel very harsh on body. It exfoliates the body really well giving it smooth feeling. It also helps in minimising in-growth with regular use. Not to forget it smells heavenly. I use it once a week and it works really great. It is not suitable for everyday use like body polishes.

I love The Body shop Blueberry Exfoliating Body Scrub more than body polish and I am going to try other body scrubs by TBS now. It works great at removing dead-skin and makes skin smooth and soft and it smells amazing. I use it once a week. I find it a little pricey but totally worth it if you get it on sale, absolutely recommended.

I love The Body Shop too! I haven’t tried the blueberry line though. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it. I’m due for a trip there soon because I’m almost out of body butter.
