Avon Nailwear Pro+ Nail Enamel Celestrial Blue Review & Swatches

I have a soft corner for midnight blue nailpaints, it feel like night sky on my nails. So when i spotted Avon Nailwear Pro+ Nail Enamel Celestrial Blue on discount, i grabbed it but it turned out to be rather disappointment :(. Read on to know why…

Avon Nailwear Pro+ Nail Enamel Celestrial Blue comes in a rectangular shaped glass bottle and looks beautiful midnight blue from outside. It was looking more like aqua blue on Avon Catalogue, which is another point i want to highlight. I have experienced it with 2-3 products that Avon catalogue colours differ a lot in actual. This one looked aqua blue on catalogue and turned out to be midnight blue whereas another one looked like bright tomato red and turned out to be coral orange 😐 yeah that much difference…

It has finely milled glitters in it which do not feel gritty at all once applied on nails.

Anyhow coming to Avon Nailwear Pro+ Nail Enamel Celestrial Blue, the brush is good and nailpaint looks gorgeous in bottle BUT(yeah that big BUT) it is quite runny in consistency and very poor in pigmentation. To get decent coverage you need atleast 3 coats wheras for full opaque finish you might need 4-5 coats.

See in swatches for yourself:

It dries super fast and Staying power is impressive. It stays put for 3-4 days then fades on tip but it survives whole week overall.

Final verdict: 2/5

Avon Nailwear Pro+ Nail Enamel Celestrial Blue does not do justice for the price tag it comes with, in fact not even to the discounted price. The colour is pretty only if it was pigmented enough. Only positive points for being quick drying and good staying power.

Till next time…take care…xoxo.
