It has been a while since I did a lipstick review post. I am back with another drugstore edit of lipstick review. Today we are going to talk about Wet n Wild Megalast Matte Lipsticks. If you do not know already Wet n wild Catsuit Liquid Lipstick is one of my absolute favorite liquid lipstick formulas. Without blabbering more, lets dive into details:

About Wet n Wild Megalast Matte Lipsticks:

My Experience with Wet n Wild Megalast Matte Lipsticks:
These lipsticks made rounds in beauty world because they had lots of dupes for MAC lipsticks. I did get some of the shades that are supposed dupes for few famous shades. But that is a discussion for another time. Let’s talk about these in more detail.
Packaging:
I do have old packaging as well as new packaging. The new packaging is reminiscent of Pat Mcgrath Lipsticks. The old packaging felt cheap and plasticy but the new packaging is better looking and better feeling also. the wet n wild is engraved on case in new packaging. I love new packing more. However my new lipstick broke from base while applying for 5th or 6th time which is something i did not face with the older packaging.
The pigmentation:
Hello Pigment!!! these go opaque in single swipe and no tugging or pulling on lips. These deposit color on lips and does not feel heavy at all. The older formula could be felt specially if you blot and apply in layers but the new formula is slightly more lightweight and i can’t complain. I love the formula.
Performance:
The staying power of these lipsticks is pretty impressive. These stay put for good 4-5 hours and some shades even leave slight tint behind. The formula is not flat matte when you apply however you can blot away little shine which is there. The formula is perfect for blot and layer if you are like me who prefers to apply more than one layer,

I love Wet n Wild Megalast Matte Lipsticks. These are above average lipsticks for me at affordable price. I admire the shade range and overall formula. The shade range is huge and you’ll find so many MAC dupes in the range. And not only the price point is so good, the quality and staying power is also impressive. However the packaging is not the best out there. These are absolutely amazing, I do use them quite often. Bare it all, Mauve Outta Here and Into the flesh are my favorite shades. I totally recommend it.
