My skin is super-sensitive to alcohol-based toners so I always like to use alcohol-free toners for my skin and preferably the hydrating ones. I was super impressed by The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash so I have decided to pick toner from the same range. Let’s read on to know my experience.

About The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner:
This Vitamin E Hydrating Toner is a refreshing tonic to refresh the skin after cleansing and get rid of the last cleanser.

Instructions: Soak a cotton pad with tonic and go over the cleansed skin of the face and neck.

My Experience with The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner:
What intrigue me to try this product was it’s claim to be alcohol free hydrating toner. I have combination skin which develops dry patches in winters and oily patches in summers. Also one thing I want to state is that the skin can be oily but dehydrated at the same time. So oily skinned people can also use hydrating products. now lets talk about The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner.
Packaging:
The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner comes in a light pink transparent bottle with white label which has wheatgrass print and basic product related information on it.
Texture & Consistency:
The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner has thick liquid like consistency which is slightly thicker than water. It smells slightly floral similar to the facewash from the range. The toner look milky in color.
Performance:
I have used this toner with cotton pad as suggested as well as the way I usually use my toner which is take small amount in palm and pat on face . Personally for me it works better with patting on skin way. I wash my face, pat dry with towel and then immediately pat this on face and let it absorb into skin before I go in with my serum/oil and cream. It gets absorbed into skin giving it healthy look and feel. With using this in my skincare, I have not experienced dry patches on my skin and as soon as it finished, my skin started missing it already. This toner did not irritate my sensitive skin and helps calm down the breakout. I love its soothing effect on skin.
Cinnamyl Alcohol which you see at the end of ingredient list is basically a fragrance agent but they could have done without it as well.

Giving full marks to any product is a big deal but The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner is really worth it. It is worth every penny even if you purchase it for full price. This bottle lasts about 5-6 months using twice a day. It worked for me, it stopped my skin from getting dry patches and looking dead. It gave a healthy hydrated feel to skin. I have used this toner in summer as well as winters and my combination sensitive skin liked it in both weathers. I will repurchase this ever and ever.
Go grab it if you have dehydrated skin. Even better grab it on sale which the body shop keep having frequently.

Why TBS adds fragrance, otherwise product is good. My skin can not take heavy things
my skin is also sensitive towards fragrance and perfum.. but this did not irritae my skin… even better if they stop adding it all together..
