My Experience with The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Clay Wash:

Packaging:
The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Clay Wash comes in a dark grey traslucent plastic tube with turquoise accent onit. Tube has flip open cap. All product related information in on the tube including ingredients. The pakcaging is sturdy and travel friendly.
Texture & Scent:
Texture of this facewash is kind gooey. It is in between cream and gel form and lathers instantly. The scent has a mixture of leon and tea tree.
Effectiveness:
TBS Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Clay Wash is probably only charcoal facewash I have used so far that does not create a black mess on my sink counter. And i love that it is non-messy. The facewash lathers quite well and does not feel gritty at all. I massage it for about 30secs and then wash it off. After wash the face fels clean but non-drying and non-stretchy. It does not strip skin out of moisture and is quite gentle on skin. I have noticed it minimizes the breakouts to some extent and aids to heal them faster. I have also noticed that it keeps skin unclogged for longer time and I do not have to exfoliate that often. Overall it delivers everything it claims for.

The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Clay Wash fulfills all its claims. But this is not a replacement for exfoliation. This guves slight exfoliation but is gentle enough to be used everyday. However I use it once a day but it can be used twice a day as well. This cleans skin without drying it out and even in winters it did not make my skin feel stretchy. You need very litle amount per usage which makes it well worth the price and you can often get it on sale. I love it and my husband loves it too so I do not mind repurchasing it.
