OOTD Friend’s Sangeet & Wedding
Heylo Ladies…
I hope you all are doing great. I’m back with one more outfit post. These are the outfits and looks I wore for my friend’s sangeet function and marriage. 🙂
Sorry for the bad light pics. I was in a hurry and this is the best I could took 🙁 . But still I hope you’ll like it 🙂
On Sangeet’s function I was not performing since I Reached on the very evening of sangeet so I had only time to get ready for function and not to prepare any dance. Since it was very hot summer evening so I’ve decided to wear a cotton Anarkali suit with Resham and Zari embroidery on yoke. I just love the color if this suit, it’s very unique and pretty bluish violet which compliments my skin tone a lot 🙂
I have paired the outfit with big loop earrings with pendent like hangings in them 😀 (very bad description I know :P). I have kept my makeup minimal.
I have used following products for my makeup:
Face:
- Oriflame Very me Peach me Perfect Tinted moisturizer,
- Maybelline Clearglow all in one compact (Review here),
- Regular blush from my palette (local brand).
Eyes:
- Brown and purple eyeshadow from same palette.
- Maybelline drama swirl Gel liner (black & silver),
- Oriflame Waterproof mascara
Lips:
- Oriflame Power shine lipstick in Pink Elixir.
I have left my hair open and side swept as I didn’t have much time (believe it or not I got ready within 15 mins).
On next day for friend’s marriage I chose to wear Lenhaga and since Orange is in these days I’ve opted for an Orange colored lenhaga with dark purple colored choli and dupatta with lots of zari and velvety border (I have got this dupatta prepared myself 🙂 )…
Since the lenhaga and chunari had Golden zari borders so I decided to pair the outfit with Golden Jhumki earrings (I just love these earrings a lot and they are very light weighted) and Golden Bangle set.
My makeup was pretty much same as the day before except I have gone for the golden-purple smokey eyes (soon I’ll do a tutorial on that) with bold winged eyeliner and Orange lips (Tommy G dual lipstick-Orange 6 ).
Since I wanted to keep my look tidy and hassle-free I’ve decided to make a hybrid loose side braid and had to use loads of pin to keep my hair in place (this reminds me I’ve to hoard on bobby pins now 😛 ).
Tell me how you find my both looks? Drop me comments, I would love to hear from you guys. Suggest, appreciate, advise…I would appreciate 🙂
