My Writing Process: Blog Writing Tour

Heya Everyone,

Today’s post is p[art of a blog writing tour for which I have been nominated by Sindhu from www.sindhujp.com. As part of this tour I have to answer 4 questions related to my writing process 🙂 and at the end of the post I’m going to nominate one fellow blogger to share her writing process. So basically the funda is to get to know fellow bloggers’s writing style and process as part of the tour.

First of all thank you so much Sindhu for nominating me and including me in the tour 🙂 I like Sindhu for her writing to touch sensitive matters which are still hesitant topics for Indian audience. Now not wasting much time I would answer my 4 questions 😀

What am I currently working on ?

I think I’m good at creating vibrant eye-makeup looks (both eyeliner looks as well as eyeshadow looks) which are very much wearable and very chic yet easy to do. And my friend is after my life to do video tutorials 😛 she’ll kill me if won’t make a video tutorial soon 😀 So I will try to do video tutorials and share with all of you 🙂

How does my work differ from others in this genre?

I am not a professional and you won’t believe that till my college 2^nd year I didn’t even own single eyeliner 😛 (see my eyeliner craze here) and even in parties I used to apply only kohl and lipgloss and then the makeup fantasy world bug bit me(hard enough). I was fond of painting and blending colors and then I thought makeup won’t be tough for me 😛 I have seen people using so many products for achieving looks and I think for normal people like me so many products are usually not available or if available then also we don’t carry them around in bag. So I create looks using minimum products and which won’t take much of your time 🙂 I will be sharing my video tutorials with you soon then you decide.

Also I love to share my outfit ideas which I personally opt for any occasion or normal style advice that I follow 🙂 Nothing needs to be fancy or branded 😉 It is budget-friendly way for everyone 😀

Why do I write what I do?

I love to express and share my knowledge (whatever I have :P) with people irrespective of they are known or unknown to me 😛 Can’t help it. Sometimes if I feel that some unknown person is picking up a product to try and I know it is really bad product then I interrupt her/him 😛 so I thought why not share it with everyone as people are well alert and aware for these kind of things these days and are quite internet friendly. Also I feel it’s fun to try something and share it with other people so I write about my experiences, my attempts, my findings and my knowledge because I love it to the core 🙂

How does your writing process work?

I’m a software engineer by profession so weekdays are busy and I’m not localite and live in a PG so weekends are also busy in managing chores 😛 So my writing process is random and I steal time in between my routine to make it work. Sometimes I click EOTD/LOTD pictures near my office washroom window because there I get the natural daylight and no artificial effect (shhhhh it’s a secret :P) and I do that also because I’m a lazy bum for recreating looks or taking lip-swatches at home 😛 and I decide most of eyeliner looks at the moment of getting ready 😀 So why not click then and there 😀

Product and normal swatch pictures I take on weekends and mostly my post of the day is not pre-planned and I write post based on my mood. I usually write my post at night/midnight and publish them immediately without proof-reading sometimes, so you may find few spelling 😛 but yeah the motive is served as everybody can process what I want to say so few spelling mistakes doesn’t matter. I start to write and thoughts just flow and transform into post. So my posts are genuine unedited version of my thoughts 😀 (I know nothing different but still :P)
