My Experience with Maybelline New York Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick Touch Of Spice:
Packaging:
Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick Touch of Spice comes in a silver bullet with mauve brown cap. It has color-coded sticker at bottom with shade name on it. Sticker is same color as lipstick. Travel friendly, light-weight packaging.
Formula:
Maybelline creamy matte range is my favorite formula from maybelline so far. It is soft, smooth, glides easily, layers easily and does not cake-up or bleed. Comfortable creamy matte formula which sets on lips in some time and stays put. It is not transfer-proof obviously like any other creamy matte formulas.
Shade & Pigmentation:
Touch of Spice is beautiful mauvey brown nude shade. It is warm-toned mauve with slight “Touch of Spice”(brown tones) which can look cooler or warmer based on your skin’s undertone.
Pigmentation of Maybelline Touch of Spice is superb. I like to apply 2-3 layers though 1 layer is enough for the lips to get fully covered. And even in 3 layers it does not feel heavy.
Staying Power:
Maybelline Touch of Spice stays on lips for good 5 hours with little sips and nips in between. It transfers on cups but does not fully go away. Even after full meal there a bit of lipstick left on my lips but reapplication is needed.

Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick Touch of spice is a beautiful mauvey brown nude which will suit all skintones. I love that this shade is neither too-cool nor too-warm toned. I can wear this shade from winters to summers without a doubt. It goes well with bold eyes or even just mascara eyes. Touch of spice is the best-selling shade from Maybelline creamy matte range and I agree with this sentiment. I am almost through my lipstick.
Many people suggest Maybelline Touch of spice is a dupe of MAC twig. In my opinion Touch of Spice is more brown and deeper than twig. Here is one side by side swatch of MAC Twig, Maybelline Touch of spice and MAC Mehr. so if Mehr washes you out, try this one.
If you want to pick just one shade from Maybelline creamy matte range, pick Touch of Spice.

I recently purchased four lipsticks from this range and Touch of Spice is one of them. Totally loved your review – exactly how I feel about this lipstick. It does look very similar to Mac Mehr – infact it looks a tad better on me than Mehr does 🙂
