I have it in my vanity for more than 2 years now so read on to know if it lived upto the hype or not.

HOW TO USE:
Apply to well-hydrated and prepped skin with a soft brush, such as the 129S Brush, or try the 109S Brush for lighter coverage. Apply with the included sponge applicator for more coverage. If the sponge is used, it should be replaced every few weeks and stored in the compartment under the powder instead of on top of the powder. Try to finish your application with a light coat of Prep + Prime Fix + to give the skin a fresh look.

My Experience with MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation:
I like powder foundations because you can go light to medium to even full coverage with them depending on how to use them. I have combination sensitive skin which gets dry patches in winters and oily patches in summers. Packaging:
MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation comes in a black case with slight shimmer embedded. The compact case have 2 compartments, one houses the powder and other one is for the sponge applicator. The sponge applicator is of good quality and can be washed over and over. The sponge comes handy for touch ups.
Texture, Smell & Pigmentation:
MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation does not have any smell and has super finely milled texture. There is almost no kickback in the pan. MAC Powder Plus Foundation has very good pigmentation and has light to medium coverage.
Performance:
When applying with brush MAC Powder Plus Foundation gives light coverage and with sponge applicator it gives light to medium coverage. On top of bb/cc cream it gives medium coverage and on top of foundations it can give full coverage too.
I like how it cancels the redness on skin and instantly gives it even look. I do not have any irritation with this product. This does not cling to any dry patches on skin and even when used in winters to set my foundation, it does not feel dry on skin. In summers I loved how it controls oils from coming through for good 5-6 hours and then just blot and you are good to go. It does not settle into finelines and does not flashback in pictures. I would recommend going exact match or 1 shade darker when buying powders.
In winters I like to use MAC fix Plus over my makeup to give hydration boost and get rid of any powderyness if I’m using powder to set my face. In summers I use MAC fix plus matte version.

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation is definitely worth the hype. There are so many shades to cator different skintones. A little goes a long way and I like the coverage versatility of this one. It took me quite a while to hit pan on it and still it is not finished. I love that it is not drying on my combination skin even in winters and does very good oil control in summers. On days I am in rush, I just apply this on face and neck with sponge, a little glowy blush and my base is done. Only con I feel is the hefty price tag. This is my favorite powder and I would definitely repurchase it but only in sale time.
