Chemical exfoliants can be tricky, especially if you have sensitive skin. You can not just straight away jump into bandwagon and start using glycolic acid everyday. You have to make your skin accustomed to it gradually and hence you should start with mild variants. Today I am going to review one such product First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads also known as FAB Facial Radiance Pads.
Price, Quantity & Buy Online:
€17.45 for 28 pads and €32.95 for 60Pads. (you can get 20-25% off often at lookfantastic)
First Aid Beauty FAB faves to go Holiday kit(€30.45).

My Experience with First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads:
I have purchased First Aid Beauty FAB faves to go Holiday kit which comes with FAB Face Cleanser (56.7g), FAB Facial Radiance Pads (28 pads), and the famous FAB Ultra Repair Cream (56.7g). Buying the kit makes it more economical if you want to try cleanser and moisturizer as well. My skin suffered from extreme dry patches, redness and flakyness in winters and got irritated a lot. SO i wanted to try the moisturizer as well as it is raved about a lot for sensitive and irritated skin. I’ll review the cleanser and moisturizer in separate posts.
Packaging:
FAB Facial Radiance Pads are pre-soaked pads which come in a tub packaging. the pads thin and somewhat feels like same material as facial wipes. One side of the pad is textured with design and other is plain.
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads Usage:
- Remove one Facial Radiance® Pad from jar and wipe pad across face, neck.
- Use in the morning and/or evening, after cleansing and before moisturising.
Like I mentioned since I have super-sensitive skin, I started using these twice a week for 1 week and then once every alternate night for next 2 weeks to see how my skin reacts to it. After that my skin got used to it and i could use it every night as well.
Performance:
These facial radiance pads like the brand mentioned has safe amount of glycolic and lactic acid even for sensitive skin. And I also took precautions so my skin did not react to it. These did not irritate my skin. Some days i did feel the tingling sensation but no irritation. These did a good job at gently exfoliating my skin and clearing it out. I felt it was more effective when used everyday. I also love the fact that these are alcohol free.
Final Verdict: 4.5/5
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads are good option if you are starting with chemical exfoliants and feel scared to try something harsh or do not know where to start. Or if you have super sensitive skin and your skin did not respond well to stronger chemical exfoliants, this is a good option for you. For reference this is milder than Pixi glow tonic.
If you are someone who is already accustomed to chemical exfoliants, this might not impress you. Also using everyday makes it costlier than other available options.
However this does make a good travel companion since it reduces the number of products you need to carry since it does the job of toner and exfoliant. I will repurchase it to use only for that purpose.
