I love experimenting with body lotions a lot and The Body Shop is one of my favorite brands when it comes to bath and body products. So I picked up The Body Shop English Dawn Gardenia Body Lotion along with the EDT from same range. I have used it all up and gave it a fair try in different weather conditions so here is my experience and verdict on it…

My Experience with The Body Shop English Dawn Gardenia Body Lotion:
The Body Shop English Dawn Gardenia Body Lotion comes in a opaque white bottle with bright sky blue stamp with name of the product and black leave detailing around it(I hope that made any sense :-/ ). It has a screw open cap with press pop opening to dispense product.
TBS English Dawn Gardenia Body Lotion is medium consistency white lotion. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly into skin without leaving any greasy feeling behind. This has mild floral fragrance which faints after 3 hours, if used with shower gel and EDT from same range the fragrance stays little longer for about 6-7 hours.
It hydrates and moisturizes the skin really well. I have normal skin and I do not feel to reapply it whole day in normal weather but in cold weather I need to reapply it after 8-10 hours. With regular usage I feel the skin feels soft and supple and really moisturized from within. However I do not find it extraordinary.

The Body Shop English Dawn Gardenia Body Lotion is good body lotion for regular use. It is really pricey for the quantity and I feel there are better options at lower price in The Body Shop itself. This moisturises skin really well but definitely not enough for very dry skinned beauties or for cold weather. I Prefer body butters for winters. I might skip this one and will not repurchase it. But if you want to give it a try, buy it in sale.
