I never believed in hand creams until I used one :D. So handcreams are essential for me and ofcourse trying different variants is part of my job as blogger as well as human being who gets bored of one variant after a while. I have normal hands which tend to get dry in winters. So today I’m here with review of The Body Shop SHEA Hand Cream which you can clearly see from pictures that I have finished already :D.

My Experience with The Body Shop SHEA Hand Cream:
The Body Shop has handcreams in almost all of there ranges: strawberry, satsuma, frosted berries, british rose, shea, honeymania, moringa, hemp hand protector and all. I picked up pack of 3 containing British Rose, Moringa and Shea. The Body Shop SHEA Hand Cream comes in a metallic finish tube with black cap. 30ml packging is ideal to carry in handbag.
The Body Shop SHEA Hand Cream is off white in color and is moderately thick cream which absorbs quickly without leaving any gresiness behind. So no more oily finger-prints on keyboard or any surface you touch. My hands feel immediately moisturized after applying it.
Coming to staying power or lasting effect, my hands feel soft until i wash them. The cream washes away even with just plain water and then hands feel dry again. And even in long run it does nothing to heal or repair dry hands or chapped and dry cuticles which is really saddening as they claim to have shea butter as main ingredient and shea butter is known for moisturing, hydrating and healing dry skin.
Final Verdict: 3/5
The Body Shop SHEA Hand Cream smells amazing and immediately moisturizes hands and cuticles pretty well but the effect is not very lasting. It washes off with water and so does the moisturization effect. It does not heal dry or chapped hands. This works great in all seasons excpet dry and chilly weather. It will work amazingly in all other seasons, without leaving hands greasy. I will not be repurchasing this one as my sole reason for using this was to repair dry and chapped cuticles which it failed to do.
Till next time…take care…xoxo.
It’s so cute! Too bad it didn’t help you out though. I don’t think I’ve tried their hand creams, but I love their body butters.
their body butters are my favorite too 🙂
Thanks for your honest review!
