Heylo Everyone, It has been ages since I have reviewed a makeup product. Today I’m here with review of Soultree Ayurvedic Kajal Grey Glow. I have received Soultree Ayurvedic Kajal Grey Glow in my march fabbag . I have already review Soultree Ayurvedic Kajal in shade true blue(Read review here). Read on to know if this one has succeeded in impressing me more than True Blue or not…

Ingredients:
My Experience with Soultree Ayurvedic Kajal Grey Glow:
Packaging:
Matt finish metallic container Silver with retractable bullet housed inside black carton box. Box has all details about product and shades available.
Shade & Texture:
Shade is dark grey with shimmers in it. The texture is soft and silky which is why this doesn’t tug or pull the eyes. The finish of Soultree Kajal Grey Glow is shimmery.
Pigmentation:
Pigmentation of Soultree Ayurvedic Kajal Grey Glow looks good when swatched on hand but while applying on eyes I need good 4-5 swipes to get the true color.
Staying Power:
Staying Power is below average given the price tag. On my eyes it starts to fade from corners and waterline in 2 hours.
Overall Performance:
Overall Soultree Ayurvedic Kajal Grey Glow is below average kajal with natural ingredients. Natural ingredients makes it good for the eyes but it stings in my sensitive eyes and makes them watery. Shimmer/glitter present in this kajal irritate the eyes even if not applied on waterline. I have used it as a liner on my upper lashline and used it till corner of the eyes, after sometime it started irritating my eyes badly. I literally had to wipe it off from my eyes within an hour when i used it on my lower lashline and waterline. Pigmentation and staying power is average too.
I have tries using it as base for eyemakeup but it creases badly within 2 hours.
What I like:
- Creamy texture.
- all natural ingredients.
- Metallic packaging.
- Nice Glittery Grey color.
What I don’t like:
- Poor pigmentation.
- Poor staying power.
- Stings in the eyes Makes my sensitive eyes watery.
- Becomes patchy after sometime.
- Pricey for what it does.
- Creases when used as eyeshadow base.
Final Verdict: 2/5
Soultree Ayurvedic Kajal Grey Glow is below average which has glittery grey color. All natural ingredients makes it good for the eyes at the same time it irritates sensitive eyes. Shimmer/glitter present in the eyes makes the irritation worse. If you do not have sensitive eyes, you might like it but do not use it on waterline.
Repurchase: No.
Recommended: Buy it at your own risk.

I have 2 of these! I don’t like them either. They smudge like crazy. BTW which mascara you are using? Your eyes look so gorgeous in these pictures.

same here…thank you for your sweet compliments Vishakha..I’m using Oriflame Waterproof mascara in these pics ☺
The cons outweigh the pros. Will surely not buy!!!
🙁
Better to skip this one ☺
Your eyes look beautiful! Shade is amazing but its low performance ruins it all 🙁
Thank you Mariyam…Shade is nice but it irritated my eyes badly..
Nice colors!
Thank you dear ☺
Nice review dear..I guess there are not worth buying
Nope…buy at your own risk 😀
For some reason grey kajals don’t work well on my skin tone. They just end up looking ashy.
Oh that is bad…I find grey one’s good substitute for black 🙂 You can try glittery one 🙂
I’ve used this in past… it was terrible :/
I agree 🙂
Thanks for the warning Anubhuti. Can’t even think of trying this one. Not even for review purpose.. haha 😉 Well written post. 🙂
Thank you dear 🙂
The only savior to this is the organic touch
Yep 🙂
I love Ayrvedic things, and kajal, and this color you showed is beautiful, but it;s a pity that it doesn;t have good pigmentation and irritates eyes – I wear contact lenses, so I guess it’s not for me, though the color is nice! I am now following you on Bloglovin!

Same here…Thank you Richa 🙂
I have the black kajal and it did fare decent! but couldn’t agree more about them smudging 🙂
I have blue one which did not have shimmer that was better but this irritates eyes like anything..
That was a very detailed and honest review. I have the same one too from Soultree – Yes it runs down on my face and yes it stings real bad 🙁

Thank you Elle 🙂
Interesting and honest review, I’ve never used a kajal before. I like the shade of this one, but it’s a real shame that it ended up irritating your eyes. 🙁 I think as a contact lenses wear, I should really stay away from it! x

Definitely not for lens wearers 🙂
Lovely color but doesn’t sound that good.
Yeah Kashaya, it is rather dispoointing..
I tried black one and even that had bad staying power. Its good for people who prefer natural kohl due to some eye problem.
Yeas agreed..
On my eyes it fades away within 2 hrs. The mains prons are ayurveduic natural ingredients.
Being ayurvedic ingredients also it irritated my eyes..
really!! doesn’t look as a good buying!! i wish you had an opportunity to read a review of it before buying 😀 but still jokes apart, i hope you get something useful out of it!
Hehehe i didn’t buy it..thank god..i got it in my Fabbag 🙂
