My Experience with Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash:
I have combination skin which gets dry patches in winters and oily patches in summers. But over the years I have realised that I prefer moisturizing facewashes for my skin. Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash comes in a white and green tube packaging with flip-open cap. The facewash is pearlescent gel which has moderate consistency. This lathers nicely and you need small amount per usage. It is pretty easy to wash off as well.
I have never noticed any post-wash drying stretchy feeling on my skin while using this. But when I used it as morning cleanse in winters, I felt slightly drying feeling. I do not get squeaky clean feeling with this specially when I use it as a second cleanse. I felt sometimes I needed to use it twice to get rid of oil/balm first cleanse completely. It removes light makeup as well but not very effective at removing kohl/mascara.
Final Verdict: 3/5
Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash is pretty average facewsh which is non-drying but definitely not moisturizing as well. What I like about it that is is fragrance free and free from drying alcohol. It has Ph 5.5 which is close to PH of skin which is nice. I feel like it is best as a second cleanser but you might need 2 applications sometimes. Overall I do not think it was worth the hype. Not a repurchaase for me. However I really liked it for warmer months for my skin. So if you have normal, combination to oily skin then this is for you. If you have dry/severely dry skin, you might want to give The Body Shop Vitamin E facewash a try.

I found your page because I was searching for reviews on this product.
I have really oily skin on my face but I find that it becomes really dry and tight after I wash with the simple moisturizing face wash.
For me, it’s not worth the hype at all.
thank you for sharing your experience. I also felt it is not worth the hype. In winter i felt it was drying and my skin felt really stretchy post use. and it did not work very well as second cleanse too.
