Oriflame Essentials Tropical Fruits Mask Review
Heylo everyone,
I am back again with another review 🙂 It is also a long pending review of Oriflame Essentials Tropical Fruits Mask. I bought this in oriflame’s special flyer sale by seeing pineapple as ingredient, oh i love pineapple so much that i can eat it every single day.
Read on to know how i feel about it…
Price & quantity:
249/- INR for 50ml. But mostly you get it only in special discount flyers. Oriflame Essentials Tropical Fruits Mask Product code 18663.
Ingredients:
aqua, glycerin, butylene glycol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, prunus amygdalus dulcis oil, glyceryl stearate, peg-100 stearate, dimethicone, butyrospermum parkii butter, xanthan gum, sodium acrylate/acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, imidazolidinyl urea, ceteareth-20, tocopheryl acetate, tetrahydroxypropyl ethylenediamine, methylparaben, parfum, isohexadecane, propylparaben, lactic acid, polysorbate 80, sorbitan oleate, ananas sativus fruit extract, carica papaya extract, paullinia cupana seed extract, potassium sorbate, sorbic acid, phenoxyethanol, ci 47005, ci 15510
Packaging:
Oriflame Essentials Tropical Fruits Mask comes in a yellow tube with screw open cap and product usage details written in brown font. Tube has fruity art printed on it which gives it more tropical look. The packaging is travel friendly and teeny-tiny tube is not bulky at all. Overall average looking packaging.
Texture & consistency:
Texture of Oriflame Essentials Tropical Fruits Mask smooth and creamy which doesn’t feel heavy on skin. Consistency is on thick cream side but it spreads easily on skin. This much amount is needed to cover face and neck.
Performance:
I usually apply cream masks in winter season or whenever my combination skin have any sign of dry patches. I apply a medium layer of this face mask after scrubbing my face and it looks like off white cream on face which has pineapple and mango mixed scent. Scent is not overpowering and you’ll like it if you like fruity masks. I leave this mask on face until it dries up. On drying it becomes transparent and looks like nothing on your skin then i wash my face with lukewarm water to remove the face mask. once the mask is gone from face i splash cold water and towel dry it. Post which i spray rose water and moisturize my face well.
I usually do this routine at night so heavily moisturizing face doesn’t hurt. Though oily skinned beauties can skip the moisturizer if they want. It doesn’t dry out skin and effective on dry patches of skin. I adds subtle glow to my face which lasts atleast a day.
What I like about Oriflame Essentials Tropical Fruits Mask:
- Nice fruity scent.
- Nice creamy consistency.
- adds glow to the face.
- Helps combating dry patches.
- Doesn’t dry out skin.
- Ingredient list is mentioned on the packaging.
What I don’t like about Oriflame Essentials Tropical Fruits Mask:
- costly.
- Not easily available.
No ingredient list(Sorry ladies! correction : Ingredient list is on tube) and no product description.- Now it is available only as part of a facial kit.
- No listed on Oriflame india site anymore. (Though i could still see it listed on turkey website here).
Final Verdict: 4/5
Ladies this is one of the good dryness combating face masks i have used and for combination/oily skinned beauties it is good to use in winter while dry skinned beauties can use it all year around.
Grab it if you spot it on discount.
