Korean skincare products have been around for sometime. I have heard great things about snail mucin extract and its use in korean skincare as a regenerating, anti-aging, repairing ingredient. Pregnancy has not been very kind on my skin, my skin broke out badly and became even more sensitive. So I have decided to use mild repairing products from Mizon which I have ordered from Yesstyle. My Experience with Mizon Snail 80 Intensive Repairing Serum:

I have been using whole snail mucin extract range by mizon together- facewash, toner, serum and all-in-one moisturizer. Today lets talk about Mizon Snail 80 Intensive Repairing Serum in detail.

Packaging:

Mizon Snail 80 Intensive Repairing Serum comes in a dark brown plastic bottle with translucent plastic pump dispenser. The pump dispenser is covered with cap. The packing is easy and convenient to use. Ingredients are mentioned on outer packaging.

Texture & Consistency:

Mizon snail intensive serum is a transparent non-sticky serum with gel like consistency. It spreads easily and gets absorbed into skin while patting it. 2 pumps are enough for face and neck. It does not feel sticky at all and it does not leave any layer on skin.

Performance of Mizon 80 Snail Intensive Repairing Serum:

I started using whole routine with snail mucin products using facewash, toner, serum and moisturizer. Within a week I have noticed the difference. My irritated skin was calming down, it was not longer breaking out and existing breakouts and inflammation was also calming down and it was healing. I felt toner and serum gave my skin much needed hydration boost as well as less congestion thanks to niacinamide in ingredients list. In summer, my oily patches felt less congested and less oily. My skin felt healthier and hydrated. I also noticed the repairing effect. I have finished the 50ml bottle today, it lasted me for almost 5 months.

Mizon Snail Intensive Repairing Serum does what it claims. I have noticed calming, healing, repairing and hydrating effect on my skin very evidently. My skin looked overall healthier with continuous usage. It is less textured and less congested also with fall here, I still see my skin well hydrated with no sign of dry patches and dryness. It helped my irritated broken inflamed sensitive skin and calmed it down. I absolutely loved using this serum. It felt extremely light-weight and non-sticky on skin. The ingredient list is very promising as well and 80% snail mucin extract makes it more effective. This is my first try in snail mucin extract products and I would love to explore more.
