My experience with Maybelline The Colossal Kohl Turquoise:
Green, turquoise, blue are few colors which complements indian skin and brown eyes a lot. I have shared other shades from Maybelline colossal kohl range before and today let’s talk about turquoise.
Packaging:
Maybelline The Colossal Kohl Turquoise comes in a bright yellow carton with black and turquoise detailing on it. The instructions and details are mentioned on outer packaging. The actual product is housed in a yellow retractable pencil with turquoise detailing on it.
Shade, Texture & Pigmentation:
Shade of Maybelline Colossal Kohl Turquoise is pure turquoise with metallic sheen to it. This kind of shade complements brown eyes really well.
Texture of Maybelline Colossal Kohl Turquoise is soft not super duper soft and it glides easily on lids. I have not noticed any tugging or pulling on my eyes.
Pigmentation of Maybelline Colossal Turquoise is average and you need 2-3 swipes to get full opacity on eyes. However layering is easy and product doesn’t crumble or go patchy on layering.
Performance:
It takes about a minute for Maybelline Colossal Turquoise to set and once it sets it is smudge-proof, water-proof and transfer-proof. It stays put on eyes for good 5-6 hours and then starts to fade slightly but nothing over the top. On very hot and humid day I have noticed a slight transfer to upper lid after about 6 hours. I use this as kohl as well as liner and it works well in both case. What I like about it that it does not get accumulated in corners of eyes.

Maybelline The Colossal Kohl Turquoise is a good option if you are someone who likes colored kohl or liners. I like the fact that it is 2-in-1 kohl and liner and it does not irritate or sting in my eyes. The pigmentation could have been a bit better but still manageable. People with extremely oily lids can notice a bit of transfer after few hours of wear. The price point is fair for the quantity & quantity. Overall I love this and would repurchase it again.
