Maybelline Color Bloom Peach Blossom Review

My Experience with Maybelline Color Bloom Lip Balm Peach Blossom:

Packaging:

Color coded twist up bullet. Fuss free and travel friendly.

Maybelline Color Bloom Peach Blossom

Texture & Feel:

Smooth and non-waxy. Doesn’t feel heavy on lips when layered.

Color Payoff:

Color payoff of Maybelline color bloom lip balm peach blossom is not as good as pink blossom and in 1 swipe it does not show much color on lips. These lipbalms are formulated to gain color few minutes after you apply it but upon layering to 3-4 swipes my lips gain beautiful peachy pink color which is almost my MLBB. Looks quite natural.

Here are my lip swatches 🙂

Performance:

I like to wear Maybelline Color Bloom Lip Balm Peach Blossom a lot as it does not over show the color and gives lips a beautiful peachy sheen but this will not hide pigmentation and might not show well on dark lips. It transfers a bit but stays put for 3 hours with some sipping and munching. It does not leave stain on lips like pink blossom so you’ll find no traces of it on your lips after a full meal.

This will not be sufficiently moisturizing for severely chapped lips.

Here is my FOTD flaunting Maybelline Color Bloom Peach Blossom.

Maybelline Color Bloom Lip Balm Peach Blossom

What I Like:

  • Nice Packaging.
  • Creamy and moisturizing.
  • Adapts to your lip-color.
  • Claims are almost true.
  • Even long time after applying, the color doesn’t fade much and fades evenly.
  • Lipstick like finish in multiple swipes.
  • My MLBB.
  • Contains SPF 16.
  • Easily available.

What I do not Like:

  • Increased price.
  • Color payoff is not as good as Pink Blossom.
  • Not for dry chapped lips.
  • Not for pigmented lips.

Final Verdict: 3.8/5

I love Maybelline Color Bloom Lip Balm Peach Blossom but I have better tinted lip balms in same price range. I like tinted lipbalms to show nice color on my lips and this one fails to do so.

Maybelline Color Bloom Peach Blossom Swatch

Recommended: Yes, if you like very sheer color on your lips.

Repurchase: No. I would get Pink Blossom one or Nivea Fruity shine Guava.

  1. I saw color bloom lip balms on Amazon, didn’t know if they were tinted or not. 😀 Someone had gifted me color changing lip balm few years back (unbranded) and it had similar packaging like this one. Wish I could find it again 🙁

  2. I had this .. maybe the pink blossom one. A friend gifted me on my b’day few years back, that time it used to retail for 99/- or 119/- 😀 , sadly I lost it somewhere. Nice review, you look fresh in pictures 🙂

  3. Great review!! The tint is nice it would ve perfect for a meeting or small event. But as you say pink blossom will be a better option. 😀

  4. You have beautiful lips! I think I need to pass, my lips have color and they don’t look great when I apply a sheer color. haha! But I do have baby lips here from Maybelline, i use it for prep and before I go to sleep.

  5. I’ve tried this and loved it too. But I prefer a few other over this one as they are Paraben and Silicone free. I’ll be reviewing these balms soon. Thanks for a detailed review.

    xoxo – Chaicy – Style.. a Pastiche!
