Hello beauties! Today we’re talking about MAC Pinch O’ Peach, a long-loved blush that still shows up in “best peach blush” roundups. If you’ve been following my blog, you already know that my favourite MAC Sheertone blush is — and still remains — Blushbaby. It’s my benchmark for effortless, foolproof blush. So when it comes to Pinch O’ Peach, I’m judging it through that lens — especially because this shade has gone through a quiet formula reclassification over the years.

About MAC Pinch O’ Peach
MAC Pinch O’ Peach was originally released as part of MAC’s Sheertone Blush range, which is how many of us still remember it. However, the blush I currently own — and the one sold today — is labelled “Powder Blush – Satin” instead of Sheertone.

Despite this change in category, the blush still behaves very similarly to a Sheertone blush on the skin: soft, buildable, and natural-looking. That said, it does feel slightly more pigmented and refined than older Sheertone formulas, which likely explains the shift.

Price, Quantity & Where to Buy
- Price: ~€33 for 6 g
- Where to buy: MAC, Douglas, Zalando
(You can often find it on sale if you keep an eye out.)
MAC Blush Formula Breakdown (Where Pinch O’ Peach Fits Now)
To avoid confusion, here’s a quick overview of MAC blush formulas and where this shade sits today:
- Sheertone: Sheer, effortless, very blendable (Blushbaby)
- Satin (Powder Blush): Smooth with slightly more pigment (Pinch O’ Peach)
- Sheertone Shimmer: Sheer colour with a soft glow
- Matte: More intense pigment, no shine
- Mineralize: Luminous, softly shimmery finish
- Extra Dimension: Cream-to-powder with reflective sheen
- Glow Play: Bouncy, jelly-like texture with radiant glow
My Experience with MAC Pinch O’ Peach
I’ll be upfront — I personally prefer MAC’s Sheertone formula. It feels more effortless, more forgiving, and easier to blend. Sheertone blushes melt into the skin, making them ideal for quick makeup days and minimal looks. That said, Pinch O’ Peach still performs beautifully.

Texture & Application
Even though it’s now labelled Powder Blush – Satin, the texture is smooth and finely milled. It blends easily, but compared to a true Sheertone blush, it requires just a little more control due to the higher pigment level.

Shade & Finish
Pinch O’ Peach is a fresh peach with soft coral warmth. It gives that healthy, “just back from a walk” flush and looks especially flattering in spring and summer. On fair to medium skin tones, it shows up effortlessly. On deeper skin tones, it may appear subtle unless built up.

Longevity
Wear time is solid for a natural blush — about 6–7 hours before fading softly without going patchy.
Packaging
The classic MAC compact makes another appearance — sturdy, minimal, and travel-friendly. There’s no mirror, but the transparent lid makes it easy to spot in your makeup drawer.
Blushbaby vs Pinch O’ Peach
This comparison feels necessary because Blushbaby is still my favourite MAC blush overall.
- Blushbaby:
- True Sheertone formula
- Beige-pink, muted and neutral
- Effortless, foolproof, all-year-round favourite
- Pinch O’ Peach:
- Now labelled as Powder Blush – Satin
- Brighter peach with coral warmth
- Slightly more pigment, fresher and more playful
If Blushbaby is your everyday, no-brainer blush, Pinch O’ Peach is its brighter, sunnier sibling.
Pros
- Smooth, blendable texture
- Fresh, youthful peach shade
- Natural, buildable finish
Cons
- Less effortless than true Sheertone blushes
- Subtle on deeper skin tones
- No mirror in packaging

Final Verdict: 4.3/5 ⭐
While Blushbaby remains my absolute favourite MAC Sheertone blush, Pinch O’ Peach is still a lovely option if you want something brighter and fresher. The formula change to Powder Blush – Satin hasn’t ruined the product, but if you love ultra-effortless blending, you may still prefer true Sheertone shades. That said, Pinch O’ Peach delivers a beautiful, healthy flush and remains a solid classic in the MAC blush lineup.
