My Experience with L’oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Matte Transforming Powder:
Packaging:
L’oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Matte Transforming Powder comes in a fiber and plastic packaging. White base and transparent lid with fuchsia metallic print on it(I am very bad at this).
There are 2 compartments , one on the upper side has compact housed in it and other below that has sponge applicator kept and mirror. I find this packaging inconvenient because taking powder and then flipping over to see mirror is not very convenient.
Sponge applicator that comes with the powder is of good quality but it starts to tear after 2 washes. You can see the condition in pic. However I still feel it is pretty good quality for touch ups. It picks up product really well.
Shades:
L’oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Matte Transforming Powder comes in 5 shades and I have shade Golden Ivory G2 which works well for my tanned skin(NC35) but I felt it was a bit dark on me in winters(NC 30 with milky tones). :-/ . Most of the shades are yellow based.
Texture & Coverage:
L’oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Matte Transforming Powder is very finely milled and feels super soft to touch. There is almost negligible kickback and hence it has low to medium coverage. If applied with brush it picks up very less product and gives low coverage, if applied with sponge it gives more coverage. It can not hide marks on its own even with sponge application.
Staying Power:
On my combination skin it keep oil at bay for good 5 hours after that touch up is needed, after that you need to reapply it. In hot and humid weather staying power is max 3 hours and then touch up is needed. This does not cling to dry patches or make skin extremely dry which makes it ideal for combination to oily skin in winter as well.
Final Verdict: 4/5
For the price point(399/-) L’oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Matte Transforming Powder was launched at, it was a good quality finely milled non-chalky powder with decent staying power available at reasonable price. But now the price is increased and that is not justifiable to me. I would not repurchase it now because the shade range is tricky despite 5 shades. It is a decent powder but nothing about it that wowed me or had me head over heels with it. So not a repurchase for me.

It is worth the bucks 🙂
Shade range is always been issue with L’Oreal. I liked Rimmel powder more then this one.
