I use showergel for morning bath generally and for my evening post workout bath I use soaps and also on lazy days as well. I do not have any specific demands when it comes to soaps so I try all kinds of soaps unless they are drying or leave residue. So here comes review of Fuschia Bentonite Clay Natural Handmade Soap by VKARE.
Price & Quanity:
225/- INR for 100gm. You can buy it online at Amazon and vkare.
About Fuschia Bentonite Clay Natural Handmade Soap by VKARE:
Bentonite, also referred to as Montmorillonite, is one of the most effective and powerful healing clays Bentonite Clay is composed of aged volcanic ash. The name comes from the largest known deposit of Bentonite Clay located in Fort Benton Wyoming. Bentonite Clay is a unique clay due to its ability to produce an “electrical charge” when hydrated Upon contact with fluid, its electrical components change, giving it the ability to absorb toxins. Bentonite is known for its ability to absorb and remove toxins, heavy metals, impurities, and chemicals. It has Perfect use for detox.
My Experience with Fuschia Bentonite Clay Natural Handmade Soap by VKARE:
Outer packaging of Fuschia Bentonite Clay Natural Handmade Soap by VKARE seems to be continuously changing, initially it was bright orange wrapper then then one I have here and then there is floral print wrapper now I guess. But the soap is properly packed in transparent poly as well which prevents it from coming in contact of any moisture and losing it’s property.
The soaps is off-white in colour and slightly porous and have micro granules in it.
The soap leathers decently as it is a handmade soap. It has pleasant scent nothing overpowering. It gives creamy feeling post wash and takes a slight extra effort to wash off. After using it 2 times a day for 7 days in a row to test its efficiency in detoxification, I have realised that it leaves slight residue sometimes which gave me tiny bumps on shoulders which never happens to me. These tiny bumps went away when I used body scrub for 2-3 days and loofah. After that I have used this soap with loofah and I haven’t faced such problem. It does not dry out skin but you can not skip moisturiser. I have not felt any extra-ordinary(or just any) difference in my skin.
Final Verdict: 3/5
Fuschia Bentonite Clay Natural Handmade Soap by VKARE is just like any other soap but sans many harmful chemicals. It comes with a hefty price tag. If you are someone who enjoy handmade soaps then you might like it. I don’t like it because it is hard to wash-off if you use it without loofah and leaves residue. Which is why I won’t repurchase it because my sole purpose of using soap is to skip loofah and have quick bath. Overall I do not feel it delivers its boastful claims of detoxifying and purifying because if it was so it would not have given me tiny bumps when used without loofah. This is my personal experience which can differ from others. Also the ingredient list is missing and availability is also very limited. For the price tag it is not a justifiable product.
I will not repurchase it but I would love to try few other soaps from fuschia or may be soulflower(have heard a lot about their soaps). Which is your favorite brand for handmade soaps? Which one you suggest I should try next? Leave your comments below.
Also I have shared my skincare routine in previous post, if you haven’t checked it out yet you can check it here or on youtube.
Till next time…take care…xoxo.
I like using handmade soaps but soaps with clays often leave a residue so I too might skip this. Btw loving the new look of ur blog
Thank you 🙂 and thank you for the tip, from now on I’ll skip clay soaps 🙂
Nicely reviewed.
Thanks for sharing your honest opinion 🙂
Thank you 🙂
I am not a huge fan of handmade soaps as they are on the pricey side. This one too looks good but I don’t think I am ready to spend 225 bucks on a soap…nicely reviewed…
same here 🙂
The grade is not very good, but 3 is ok for the Fuschia bentonite clay soap. Like you, I don’t mind much which soap I am using, although I have some brands that I love more. I liked that it doesn’t have chemicals, but the list of ingredients would have been better! I hope you have a very beautiful day!

Thank you Denise…same pinch 🙂
Whoa, it costs a bomb. It better have magical properties 🙂
Yeah..sadly it doesn’t..
Soap made of clay… sounds interesting. Soap giving bumps is a terror!
Yeah…weird..i’d rather use soap with chemicals than using all naturaal soap which gives bumps..
I hate soaps that leave a residue! Recently I tried handmade soaps from Do Bandar and Aroma Essentials, both are good in cleansing and smells really nice.
me too.. I’ll check out aroma essentials soaps 🙂
Bar soap isn’t my cup of tea, but it does look lovely.
I have such fascination with handmade soaps! Too bad this didn’t work out for you!
bentonite clay is super good for the skin!
this sounds very interesting, even if you would not repuchase
Looks like a great soap. Nice and detailed review.
Residue and bumps definitely make this a no-go for me, although I am usually a fan of natural products.
