Compacts and pressed powder are essential part of my everyday makeup routine. Although i refrain from using mattifying powders in winters since i have combination skin which tends to get dry patches in winters and oily patches in summers. Today I’m reviewing Faces Canada Go chic Pressed Powder.

About Faces Canada Go chic Pressed Powder:
Faces Go Chic Pressed Powder Is A Light Weight Formulation Which Gives A Sheer Radiant Look Without Clogging Pores. It Blends Easily With Skin Tone Gives And Uniform Coverage. Suitable For Light To Medium Coverage On All Skin Types.
Ingredients:
My experience with Faces Canada Go Chic Pressed Powder:
I ordered Faces Canada Go chic Pressed Powder in shade ivory 01 which is the lightest shade from the range and surprisingly quite cool toned and pink.
Packaging:
Faces Go chic Pressed Powder comes in a blak plastic compacy with mirror and sponge applicator inside. I usually do not mind using the sponge applicators fro touch ups but this applicator is not so good in quality and is of no use. However the compact is quite travel friendly and does not open in bag.
Shade & Texture:
shade ivory is lightest and it is quite dark on my NC20 skintone which is disappointing. In winters it does looks quite dark on skin and gives slight muddy experience. However I do get away with it in summers as i do not mind using a tone dark compact. But if you are in skintone lighter than nc30, this might not be a good idea.
Texture of Faces Go chic Pressed Powder is not very finely milled which is again disappointing since i have used cheaper compacts with better milled formula. This has a talc like feeling and quite kickback in pan. Also after few usages i saw weird texture in pan.
Performance:
The compact gives low to medium coverage and control oil for 3-4 hours after which i can see my oily patches getting oilier and touch up is needed. Although I used this in winter as well and this does not cling to any dry patches on skin. So i would say it is better suited for normal to dry skin and not so suitable for oily skin.
Swatches:
Final verdict: 3.5/5
Faces Canada Go chic Pressed Powder is pretty average in all aspects. This did not impress me anyway. Only thing i liked about this is that it does not cling to dry patches. For the price range, there are better compacts than this one like rimmel, lakme, maybelline and sugar. If you have oily skin, you can skip this one. Normal to dry skinned beauties can give this a try. Make sure to checkout shades in store before you buy it as the lightest shade is also quite dark and might not suit skintones lighter than nc30. I am not happy with this and will not repurchase it.

This looks great to be used in spring time. I loved go chic range.
yes but i think you’ll not find a shade match for you, since i think you are around NC15-20…
