Elle 18 Color Pop Liners : Review & Swatches

I have a soft corner for coloured liners and there are legit reasons for it. One they can amp up any look and take it to next level. Two even if you apply just colored liner and mascara, it makes you look like that you have put some effort getting ready :). Sometime i just apply kajal, colored liner, mascara and some highlight in inner corner and Eyemakeup is done with minimum effort :). So that is why I love them. Today I’m reviewing very budget-friendly range Elle 18 Color Pop Liners.

About Elle 18 Color Pop Liners:

Elle 18 Color Pop Eye Liner comes in 4 metallic shades : Blue, Green, Grey & Brown.

My Experience with Elle 18 Color Pop Liners:

Packaging:

Elle 18 Color Pop Liners come in a round glass bottle similar to Elle 18 nailpaints. The wand is thin and easy to work with. The packaging is super cute and hard to break (Says yours truly miss clumsy hands who dropped these several time). Thin bristle wand gives control for precise application.

Smell & Consistency:

Elle 18 Color Pop eyeliners have medium liquid consistency and do not have any funny smell. The liners go on easily on eyes and dry within 1 min of application.

Shades, Pigmentation & Finish:

All 4 shades of Elle 18 Color Pop Liners have metallic finish.

• Blue: Greyish Blue with metallic finish.
• Green: Moss Green with golden shimmer, metallic finish.
• Grey: Slate grey with silver shimmer, metallic finish.
• Brown: Copper brown with metallic finish.

all 4 shades have good pigmentation. They layer up easily. But if you layer these more than 2 layers, it can dry up crumbly.

Performance:

These eye liner are easy to apply. All the shades are gorgeous. They dry within 1 minute and stay put all day. The formula sometimes sting my eyes if my eyes are feeling super-sensitive any day but not as much as Lakme absolute 9 to 5 eyeliner does.

These liners do become crumbly if you layer more than 2-3 times(Same issue you’ll find with Maybelline metallic range). These are water resistant and not water-proof. Which means these will not run down your eyes after splashing water, just do not rub your eyes and you’ll be fine.

Overall I’m pretty impressed and satisfied with Elle 18 Colorpop liners. The shades are beautiful. I love how economically priced they are. If you compare price point and then compare these with lakme absolute and maybelline metallic range, then these are not far behind in performance. I absolutely love these. I have whole-heatedly used these and oriflame clickit liners more than Maybelline and Lakme one’s. So for me full-on “Paisa Wasool”. Absolutely recommended.
