My Experience with CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser:
First let’s talk about the packaging. If you like your facewash to look beautiful well this is not it. The facewash comes in a semi-transparent white retangular shaped bottle with pump dispenser. Pump dispenser has lock mechanism which i like but still not a travel friendly packaging. I find it ok.
CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser is a clear gel cleanser. It is quite runny and foams nicely. I massage it for about 30sec-1 min before washing it off depending upon how congested my skin is feeling. In morning i use it for 30sec and when using it as a second cleanse(after oil cleasing) for about 1 min. I use it once everday in summer and once every alternate day in winters since it contains salicylic acid so I do not want to over exfoliate my sensitive skin.
It works well at minimizing skin congestion without irritating or drying out my sensitive skin. My skin feels smooth and clean right after wash. I have noticed it clears out tiny bumps due to congestion on skin. My husband really loves this because he noticed his very occasional breakouts were tackled and disappeared quickly with this. I noticed that it can not work on minimizing black or white heads and neither does it claims to do so. And in winters it does make my skin feel a little dry specially if used everyday.

CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser is a must try if you have dry, combination, congested or bumpy skin. Salicylic acid in this helps gently exfoliate. Hyaluronic acid and ceramides help in protecting skin moisture and skin barrier. It is fragrance free and yes it is sensitive skin friendly. However if you have super dry skin, use it 2-3 times a day specially in winters to avoid over drying of skin. This reduces skin congestion and hence reduces breakouts caused by congestion as well. A little goes a long way. You can use it on your body as well if you suffer from body acne. I have completely finished it and will definitely repurchase it in future.
