My Experience with SUGAR Contour De Force Face Palette 01 Subtle Summit:

The SUGAR Contour De Force Face Palette comes in two striking options viz., 01 Subtle Summit and 02 Vivid Victory. Each of the powders is also available as an individual mini in case you want to purchase only one . This product is free from parabens, D5, mineral oil and nano-ingredients.

Packaging:

SUGAR Contour De Force Face Palette comes in a cardboard packaging with typical sugar print and magnetic closure whcih fits inside a black sleeve with sugar logo cutout on it. The pans are good enough sized and blush/bronzer/highlighter brushes can fit easily in them. It also has big mirror which can come handy. This does not have any applicator and I’m happy about it because most of applicators are useless in such palettes and make the packaging bulk for no good reason. Overall I really like sleek, sturdy, lightweight and travel-friendly packaging.

Shades & How I use it:

Left to Right: Taupe Topper (Brown-Gray Bronzer), Champagne Champion (Champagne Gold Highlighter) and Peach Peak (Soft Peach Pink Blush).

01 Taupe Topper (Cool-toned Brown Bronzer): This is perfect cool toned bronzer/contour shade for Fair, light to medium skintones. For deeper skintones it will give very subtle color to face and for skintones deeper than NC42, it will hardly show up. One more thing I want to mention that this shade might not suit as bronzer on many skintones but it makes a beautiful contour shade. I use it as bronzer in summer with loosely packed brush and as contour in winters with a densely packed brush(RT expert face brush).

01 Champagne Champion (Champagne Gold Highlighter): Beautiful champagne gold highlighter which is extremely soft to touch. It can give you subtle to blinding highlight depending on ow you use it. I love this. This shade compliments majority of skintones. I use it with my Real Technique setting brush for subtle look or my finger for blinding highlight look.

01 Peach Peak (Soft Peach Pink Blush): Beautiful peach pink blush which i love so much that I have already finished one individual one and hitting pan on this one as well. Again suitable for mostly Fair, light to medium skintones. Very deep skintones might not like it a lot. I have reviewed this in detail here.

Texture & Pigmentation:

All the shades are very soft to touch and very pigmented. They blend effortlessly. If you have fair to light skintone, be very careful with bronzer else it might end up looking muddy. Blush shade will need building up.

Staying Power:

All 3 shades stay on my combination skin for good 6-7 hours on their own and then start to slightly fade. However these do fade evenly and by end of the day my face still looks presentable and i can see the shades still there. If I set my face with setting spray, it can last even longer.

I love SUGAR Contour De Force Face Palette 01 Subtle Summit. I like how handy and perfect travel face palette this makes with a fair price tag. The shades are more suitable for Light, Fair and Medium skintones. However for deeper skin tone they do have another variant 02 vivid victory. I have used this so much that I’m hitting pan on all 3 powders in it. What I love that I can buy these shades as individual also. I do recommend it.
