TGIF!!!! How’s your week going so far? Excited for weekend? Yeah so much love is around and so many faces are blushing already with excitement 😀 So I have decided to go with the flavor of the week and decided to review a blush Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Fresh Coral 😉

Honestly I don’t own many blushes(only 3 or 4 :P) but this is my only used blush till date 😀 surprising no!!! Rest I have received in my fab bag and still waiting for their turn 😀 So you can guess how much I love this blush.

So no further blabbering and coming to the review.

Packaging:

It comes in a white plastic pan with transparent lid with Cheeky Glow written on it. Packaging is sturdy as i have dropped it several times but it is still in perfectly one piece 😀 Nothing special about the packaging. On the back side Ingredients, price, quantity and shelf-life is written. So overall nice packaging.

Though it doesn’t have any mirror or brush included so you’ll have to carry one for touch-ups.

Shade & Texture:

Maybelline cheeky glow blush comes in 3 shades: Peachy Sweetie, Creamy Cinnamon and fresh coral. Out of all the three shades this is the brightest. Fresh coral is bright coral shade, Peachy Sweetie is pinkish while Creamy cinnamon is burnt orange types. As claimed by Maybelline all the shades compliments all skin tones.

Texture of blush is finely-milled powdery and light. Maybelline claims that it has silky smooth texture and I agree to that. It doesn’t feel heavy on skin even after layering. The blush is easily blendable and feels feather-light on application(rather not at all feels on skin).

Pigmentation & Staying Power:

Pigmentation of Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Fresh Coral is superb. You get the color in one swipe and it is buildable to 2-3 swipes depending upon how much product you take on brush (more than that can make me look like clown though :P)  And yeah not to mention it is matte.

Staying power of this blush is upto 5 hours, post which very slight color is visible and if you apply only one swipe then you might not see any color after 5 hours, so touch up is needed if you want the rosy glow all day 🙂

Performance:

I love Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Fresh Coral to the core and have been using it for past 2 months but my products still looks new(as you can see in pics). Ity gives very nice coral matte finish to your cheeks and if i apply 2-3 swipes then I don’t need any touch up. Doesn’t highlight any dry-patch on dry skin.

What I Like about Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Fresh Coral:

• Beautiful coral color.
• Affordable and easily available.
• Easily blendable.
• Great pigmentation.
• Fuss free, light weight, travel friendly, sturdy packaging.
• Feather light on application even after layering.
• Buildable pigmentation without feeling heavy.
• Matte finish.
• very less quantity is required and i have been using it for 2 months and you can see it looks almost new.
• All the claims are true. 🙂

What I don’t like about Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush Fresh Coral:

• No mirror and brush for touch-ups.
• Staying power could have been better(I’m not complaining though given the price tag it comes with.

Final Verdict: 4.5/5

I will definitely repurchase though a different shade as this ain’t gonna  finish anytime soon 🙂 May be Creamy Cinnamon next 😀

I recommend this to everyone. It is budget friendly, feels very light on skin, gives natural color flush and very wearable. So go get it if you haven’t already.
