Today I am here with review of Aroma Magic Grapefruit Facewash for normal to oily skin which is my second product from Aroma Magic(first was under eye gel, review will be coming up soon ) and I have been religiously using this for 2 months now and I’m ready to share my review about it.

If you have seen the very first picture, i don’t think i need say more. What a beautiful pretty tube it is. Aroma magic has revamped packaging of its product for good. Aroma Magic Grapefruit Facewash comes in a ombre sunny yellow colored translucent tube with flip open cap 🙂 The color of the tube is same as color of facewash and it has beautiful flower prints along with all product related information on one side of the tube. OH I SO LOVE IT!!! The caps shuts tightly and it makes it travel friendly. I carry this in my bag almost everyday and have never encountered product leakage. Just look how beautiful it is..

Texture & Consistency:

Texture is gel like and consistency is just perfect neither too runny nor too thick it spreads perfectly and leathers well.

Performance of Aroma Magic Grapefruit Facewash:

I have been using only Aroma Magic Grapefruit Facewash for past 2 months (started using just day after my marrige :P) and used it religiously twice a day and it is almost over, also I have carried it with me to my trip to Maldives and Mauritius and My hometown as well so technically I have used in beach weather, moderate weather and chilly Delhi winters 😀 so I think i can do the perfect justice to this review.

I have combination and very sensitive skin, I have got my forehead threaded first time before my wedding and to my horror I got post-threading tiny little bumps all over my forehead right on my engagement day 🙁 My D-day was the very next day of my engagement so I freaked out. So I have decided to use this facewash as it has minimum chemicals. and I must say it soothed down my irritated skin to great extent. I have been hooked on to it since then.

I got super-tanned and sun-burnt during my honeymoon trip(literally my skin peeled-off like snake-skin post my honeymoon trip) and this facewash was perfect companion to my super sensitive sun-exposed irritated skin.It calms down the irritating skin, smells like sweet lemon and is very mild on skin. I have been busy a lot post marriage and have not been able to use any DIY or any kind of remedies to remove tan. But this facewash has been removing and lightening my tan very efficiently so skin lightening claim is true.

In my opinion products with skin lightening claim can not make you fair but they can sure help you improve your actual skin tone by lightening pigmentation and tan and skin discoloration.

I have freckles and pigmentation on my nose and cheek bones and after using it I have noticed that it has lightened my freckles and pigmentation.

It leathers well(not too much like pond’s facewashes) . It effectively cleanses all dirt, grim and oil even light makeup and mascara also from my face without ripping off the moisture. Though ladies with extra dry/dry skin might find it drying but then again it says on the packaging that it is for normal to oily skin. It takes good amount of water to wash it off completely.

My skin texture has improved and tightening of pores claim is also true but don’t expect it to happen overnight. You will have to use it for some time to see the difference.

What I like about Aroma Magic Grapefruit Facewash:

• Works on lightening freckles and pigmentation.
• Helps in removing tan.
• Removes oil, dirt and light makeup effectively including mascara.
• Doesn’t sting if accidentally goes inside eyes.
• Improves the skin texture and color.
• Does not make my combination skin dry though I always follow up with moisturizer.
• Controls oil for quite a long time(even in beachy weather).
• Mild fragrance which doesn’t linger a long time.
• Soothes irritated skin.
• Doesn’t break out my super sensitive skin.
• free of Parabens, Alcohol, Mineral Oils, Harsh Chemicals, Synthetic Colours and Artificial Fragrances, Petrochemicals, Phthalates and Animal Testing.
• Travel friendly packaging.

• Live up to the claims with regular usage 🙂

What I don’t like about Aroma Magic Grapefruit Facewash:

• It takes good amount of water to wash it off completely.
• can be a bit drying for normal skinned beauties during winters (But nothing a good moisturizer can’t take care of).

Final Verdict: 4.9/5

I have deducted .1 marks for being a little difficult to wash otherwise it is a 5/5 for me. Definitely a repurchase for me and I recommend it to all the ladies with normal/combination/oily skinned ladies.
